The always(sort of)-online requirement is a legitimate criticism.  Although, their direction on this is explainable.  Still a major pain in the ass. 

However, this outrage over a fee for used games is ridiculous.  Take Angry Joe's rant in the link on the last page.  He's raging about not being able to lend a game to a friend and seems to think his friend is entitled to play that game for free.  Sorry Joe, you're great and everything, but you're wrong on this.  We were getting a free pass on this issue.  No more.  Microsoft is protecting itself, and frankly, the belief that your friend is entitled to play that game you yourself bought is absurd.

I would like to see this fee waived for retailers of used-games however.  But that would also require the original owner remove the software from their X1 and I'm not sure they've implemented any such process.

I have every right in the world to tell Microsoft where to shove it. I share my games with my cousins and not being able to do that is a deal breaker.

My brother and I use each others games all the time.  We saved a lot of money.  I'm just saying we were ripping off the system.  I think this air of entitlement reflects how spoiled many gamers are; and how out-of-touch they are.  If I do go for the X1 (which is still highly doubtful), I will miss being able to interchange games.  I'm just criticizing this tunnel-vision view that Microsoft is somehow being unfair in charging someone who hasn't paid for the game...for playing the game.

Very true.  Also, even though it's ugly as hell, the console itself has been designed for performance in mind with tons of vents and an absolute horizontal position.

Dont buy an Alienware. Don't be fooled by the specs. You can build your own gaming PC for WAY less. If you buy an Alienware, your only buying the brand, not the quality.

I don't think they'll really combat "used games" without pissing off gamers... though gamers are the one buying used, which from my perspective, at least from where I live - new releases, used... are what, 5 bucks cheaper? Is that really worth it?

Don't bother with that. Brand name BS. You can build your own.

Hidden, do not buy Alienware, build your own PC (it's worth the experience, even if frustrating at first) and you can save tons, while still having a beast computer. I build my own last year and I love it and I'm going to upgrade again, to last me a few years, since the one I built was specifically for SWTOR and I wasn't planning too far ahead.
