If I cross the border, purchase 3 Dr.Peppers and come back to Canada. Will I still be able to turn it in?

Yes.

the codes are for website. They aren't region encoded. The only wrinkle in this is if the downloads are just unlock keys for items that they didn't put in other countries games. But I don't believe that is the case, they are items you actually download.

I'm going to agree here.  The promotional material is region based but it doesn't say anything about having to have version "X" of the game.

Uhg, I checked a bunch of stores except the gas stations. All I could find was either a regular label or one promotion for winning $1000 for tuition.

No, they won't. Dev confirmed no in game advertisement whatsoever. The items you DL for other games from drpepper.com don't have Dr. Pepper logos. Which sucks. I wanted a soda machine...IN SPAAAAAAAAAAACE!

I live in Las Vegas and found the promotional Dr. Peppers at Walgreens.

Jeeze they really got a lot of you by the neck with all the DLC...*sigh* people need to learn to manipulate better.

As I said previously, you can get the codes without buying any Dr. Pepper.

Oh yeah, that's right. Due to the 'No purchase necessary' clause in the contract, you can send a letter to them asking for a code. Just might take longer. Dunno if they do that for out of states...but you can ask drpepper yourself.

the sign up is US only, though the show 7-11 as part of it so it might move north of the border to areas that have the stores.

Dude it's extra in-game stuff....who could possibly resist? I am getting everything I possibly can. Both preorder bonuses, the BDA, the Dr. Pepper items and the CE items. I'm only missing on the iPhone bonus and on the Incissor SR. I may end up getting the iPhone bonus later but that's up in the air now. Besides 3 20oz botles only cost $4.50 so it really is no big deal.

Assuming every bottle comes with a code. Would suck if it's only 1 out of 12 or some crap like that.

It's guatanteed to have a code per bottle. Follow the link in my OP. ALL bottles are marked "EVERY BOTTLE WINS!!"

I just want to see Shepard chug a DP when he relaxes at the mess or in his quarters. But apparently it breaks immersion *sigh*

Nope. They will put a pic of  them most likely when they do become prizes on the site. They show pictures for all the other crap you claim.

I don't think it does. Sure all the nerds will cry that crap, and spout in game advertisement. But y'know it's not like soda's gonna disappear in the future. It's not like beer and alcohol are going anywhere, and these companies have been around for a hundred years already, who says they can't be around a hundred more? Although personally I'd prefer a Sprite.

People like to pretend that in the future people realize that soda is "bad" for you and thus is no longer available.  Very Star Trek and very much not ever going to happen.  Now as far as an actual product available today that can be argued but at the very least Shepard should be pounding down a Shanxi Pale Ale.

True, different companies can be bought out, but brand loyalty is huge. They wouldn't change the names willy nilly. And Star Trek is rediculous, they think that in the future we all support communism. Really?

if the spore items are anything to go by, those worrying that you need multiple codes for al the items shouldnt worry. one code unlocks all the dozen or so spore parts, so im guessing one code will get you all 3 headgear. :)

Dozen of the same Spore parts? they were all Robot parts. I think it will be going the Sims 3 route. 1 code = 1 piece

Not like it really matters I bought 3 sodas for a little under 4$ not at once mind you but over a period of time, I get a soda for lunch at work.

The way I see it there are only three items so why not go for the better safe than sorry approach and have 3 codes? If you don't need them then fine maybe you can use them for something else like MAYBE DAO items since the bottles I bought have a nearly invisible and blended in with the background shape of the blood dragon of DAO on the bottles....this may well hint that DAO items will be up for redemption as well. If you do end up needing three codes then you're covered so you can't go wrong by buying three IMO.
