Star Trek I was never a big fan of. I like lightsabers, bringing a knife to a gun-fight and being the most badass guy there, but everything else about the setting can take a flying leap as far as I'm concerned.

We're not talking about your arguments.
Then your comment is senseless and irrelevant. Good day.

No BSG/Firefly here either. I love Voyager and Doctor Who. Watched a lot of Stargate and Star Trek TNG back in the day. Bits and smatterings of other shows like Eureka and Outer Limits.

I love them all. Not a huge fan of Stargate, B5, or some of the stuff you'd see on TV on Syfy. I'm trying to give Defiance a chance, but I didn't start at the top of the series, and it's hard for me to get into a series when I don't start from the beginning.

I'll get straight to the point. You've posted I dunno how many times that, basically, thinking your opinions are right is some sort of fallacy or something. Your little 'swinging the stick' analogy and all that. 'Opinions are subjective, not objective' you've shrieked countless times.
So I'm thinking to myself perhaps you're under the delusion that every 'opinion' needs to be prefaced with "This is just my opinion..." or something of the sort.

It is an easy target to pick on most anything, so personal preference rides high and success often isn't measured in quality, at least from the standpoint of professionals. But, comparissons certainly can be made in relative terms. No matter how much someone wants to try to tear apart The Empire Strikes Back, tearing apart The Phantom Menace is so much easier! And no matter how much someone wants to attack the dull plot of the first, original cast Star Trek movie, without the commercial sales of tickets optimistic fans spent watching that thing, there would not have been a Wrath of Khan. And let's not forget there was a TV series which neither would have existed without.
But that is not to say that Star Trek "The Motion Picture" was anywhere close to being as good as The Wrath of Khan, even if I was entertained by the Klingons at the beginning of the movie. And you can't go out there with a straight face and tell me that the Firefly TV series was worse than Andromeda, the TV series.
So, as it relates to ME3, I still stand that it is an atrocious piece of nonsense, mostly due to the abomination of its ending(s) as compared to either ME1 or ME2. Certainly at least for the time they were released.

See, it's this sort of nonsense that makes me feel very little sympathy for the people who whine about me.

Well... yeah.
And not attacking others with your stick of interpretation. Not calling people stupid or insulting them based on their opinions.
You go out of your way a lot to say something is stupid and ridiculous, and attack the poster.
A simple, "I don't agree" added with a possible explanation for your PoV, and a willingness to not simply say "That's stupid, I don't like it, and since I don't like it it has to be bad, and you have to be stupid for thinking it's good".
You go out of your way to not only showcase your opinion (which is right to you; no one can dictate that but you), but also claim that other people's opinions are stupid, and that your opinions are the "correct opinions".
Why don't you try be a nice guy around here? Then maybe I and a few other people would stop whining about you and your attitude and behavior.
