Will Bioware ever open Characters and Romance section of the forum?

Working as intended I guess.

If they ignored the problem, the forum would still be open, wouldn't it?

It must be satisfying to try to put people down anonymously for no reason.

Making a completely moronic accusation based on nonsense is 'no reason'?

Weird thing is that it didn't really solve anything. All they did was put us into groups.
And we all went back to the same one anyway.
It actually did, because I don't have certain friends of mine who just like Miranda, getting depressed all the time because of how the d*cks in that thread treated him.

No, the problem is moderators can't be bothered to actually moderate, unless it's to silence criticism of their company.David7204 wrote...

It also explains why dip****s like you are allowed to constantly make personal attacks. You're trolling for the wrong side.

You're kidding, right? You must be new here, you don't know how often people used to whine and cry that this forum was becoming fascist and a closed system where Bioware would regulate everything to nicey-nice threads about their games.
Bioware's in a darned if you do, darned if you don't scenario.

Unable to moderate? Please. How many people out of that long list at the bottom of this page are actually active? Sure Priestly or Ninja Stan can't be here all the time. So why don't they hire people or appoint volunteers who can?Argolas wrote...

Nah, IT outlived it's usefulness as a means to deflect criticism and was a liablity due to it spreading misinformation about the game and it's choices.

No, I'm not kidding. I didn't say that they didn't do enough, I said they did it wrong and in a lazy way (it may be due to the lack of full-time moderators but then they're just in over their heads with BSN). When spam and insults take over a otherwise productive thread, moderators moderate it, that means they read the thread, find the part where the bad part started, temp-ban those responsible and delete that section so the thread gets back on the rails. Instead they just use the lockdown hammer.
I'm not blaming the current actual mods too much, I realize that properly moderating those FTL forums with who-knows-how-many new threads every day would be a sh!tload of work- but that just means that there aren't enough mods dedicated to moderate such a huge message board.

Gosh, it must really bother you that someone points out such nonsense. I'm sorry that you can't convince everyone by such methods, as you're no doubt accustomed to. Perhaps your Facebook friends will be more gullible?

The point is that there are better ways to tell someone that he or she is wrong. You're no longer correcting someone, you're simply flinging an insult. You'd might as well just say "Hey, you're pretty stupid". It's the same thing really.

It was us Miranda fans.
Though to be honest, we were actually arguing less about Miranda and more at each other.
That said, I think it's silly how the admins can't handle that.
At least we never stooped to the utterly creepy levels of Tali dolls and chemical composition for Quarian persperation...
