Just wants to point out that the mods have lives outside of the forums, so they can't really read through all of the threads/sections, and most of the threads/sections that are closed down are usually too ridiculous to save anyways.
It's not really laziness, it's just realizing the futility of it all.

You know, with people like David here, I'm surprised they haven't closed this section too.
Gosh, it must really bother you that someone points out such nonsense.
He's such a cutie!

No I'm assuming they've taken on a responsiblity, and don't always live up to it. This forum has over twenty mods listed, I've seen a total of two make peiodic visits here, rather spontaniously. The Mad Hanar wrote...

I'm never aggressive to people who don't make stupid and insulting accusations or implications. Such as the one at the top of the last page. Maybe you should concern yourselves a little more with that and a little less with me.
You personally attack someone in every thread I see you in because you don't agree with that persons idea or post
I'm honestly surprised that you or Auld Wulf hasn't been banned for personal attacks

anyone want to fill me in on why the closed the character section down?
The Miranda thread had descended into petty bickering between posters, and it got quite rude.
Plus the whole lots of NSFW pics and generally...eerily intimate discussion. And the hostile nature towards "outsiders."
I remember I once went into the Fenris thread to ask about his phasing ability and nearly got my head bit off.

It actually did, because I don't have certain friends of mine who just like Miranda, getting depressed all the time because of how the d*cks in that thread treated him.
I suspect I know who you're talking about and this is quite the misrepresentation of the situation. One thing is liking Miranda which is fine. We were all in the thread because we liked Miranda.
Another thing is to post the same unsubstantial...thing multiple times in the very same page and then be upset if someone asks him to stop.
It's not as if the fanbase united in a deliberated campaign to depress that particular person, it was just remarkably easy to do so. He would post a fanart he made; once again, multiple times; and God forbid if praises weren't showered in the next ten minutes or he would post three times to remind us to do so.

That is a fair point though. Still, if my volunteer work involved me and my friends having passive aggresive insults thrown at me by some random people I dont know, I probably wouldn't take it very serisously anyways. Especially if I was the only one out of twenty volunteers showing up.
Not that it's happening here, or it's a one-way street, but I have noticed it before.

Also, why would she be a terrible choice to accompany you at Cronos station? I assumed that EDI's being a supercomputer is what made her a vital part of the mission, but Miranda does know the station.

This isn't about MEFanforlife101.
Though I can link a very beautiful showcase of his meltdowns if people wish.

Depends on the labor. Not all of them, some don't think I'm helping enough, other times it really does seem futile, like cleaning up a forest preserve, it will get trash dumped in it again, so it's largely a job of repetative nature to doesn't provide for long term results. Doesn't mean I'll hide from the responsiblity, I've taken on the role because it seemed important to me to do so, positive accolades not required. The Mad Hanar wrote...

Wait, how was Miranda dishonest at her core now? I don't recall all the details of Mass Effect 2, but I'm pretty sure she comes around completely in the end.
At most, he's arguing his opinion as objective. He does this for everything. Everything he sees in the game is how the game is.
As usual, he's just being an ass.
You know, most people's idea's I've seen are quite good. They need some polish here and there and a few adjustments but a lot of them are rather workable.
David is one of those people who goes above an beyond his criticism. He not only totally dismisses something he doesn't like or agree with as total garbage but insults people personally who do.

I know Miranda tends to play more arrogant than she actually is ("I'm never wrong.") but she seemed to drop that pretty quickly in a less public situation ("I make mistakes like everyone else."). Other than that I don't recall a lot...
