I'm currently running this game in Bootcamp via Windows Vista. Everything is working perfectly apart form the function keys (F1, F2, F3 etc). I can hold fn+F1 key to perform the same action as a PC player would normally do by just hitting F1, however this is a bit cumbersome when trying to micromanage party members.
Do any of you know how to make the funtcion keys in bootcamp work the same as on a PC keyboard? So that I only need to hit F1 to select my primary character (and not fn+F1)?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Using Mac F1, F2, F3 etc keys in Windows Bootcamp

There is a setting in the bootcamp control panel that toggles this behavior. I normally have it so that the function keys need the fn button to be function keys but found like you have that I had to change it for DA:O.

interesting, can you be more specific about where to go to change the keys? I'm not very tech savvy... thanks

If you go to the Start menu there should be a line in there called Settings, select that and then Control Panel. Depending on the way it is set up, sometimes Control Panel is a sub menu that goes directly to all of the control panels, and sometimes it opens up a window which has all of the Control Panels. Either way, you are looking for Bootcamp. Once you find it, it has a tab called Keyboard, and how the function keys work is the only thing on it.

There should also be a Boot Camp icon in the system tray that looks like a dark grey diamond. You can right click on that to bring up the Boot Camp control panel.

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you both!
