Runs out of ammo too fast, though, admittedly, I do have it low. I'd rather slap a recoil mod on a Hurricane. Not the best SMG in the game, unless you have it at X and want to snipe with it. At close to medium range, I'll take the Hurricane.

TMB, saw you using it with the DV then the GE, and it inspired me to re-think of kits to use it with, and i'm happy I did (esp with the GE, great weapon for him) so thx for that

It's very accurate, has virtually no recoil, and it applies ammo powers amazingly. However, if I want to do heavier damage at close to medium range, I'd still prefer the Hurricane.

Although you don't have to wait very long for the CSMG to restore ammo count, the Hurricane can keep on pew pewing.

Have it at 1 overheats much to fast. Pretty much hoping for it every time I open a pack.

That was my exact thought process on it too, before the RNG decided to give me a flurry of upgrades on it ...

I'm Lucky got for the first time at Christmas but it now sits @ IX.

Use it for my Justicar and Huntress mainly but easily my favourite SMG.  Especially when you get Platinum Condor or Hazard Dagger, ammo boxes?:innocent:

It's definitely not better damage wise than Hurricane. But it gets boring using just 1 gun. Plus it's the second best SMG.

^^That's part of the reason why I hated it at first. I compared it to the Hurricane but it's a different beast. Admittedly if you have the CSMG at a low rank it's severe lack of ammo is its downfall and the Hurricane at any rank is beast.

Great gun but would always carry a side arm with it -like the Talon (with ULM) for closer action and if I run the ammo down to far

Really good gun at lvl10.  The ammo recharge is very quick as you can see in the video.  If the gun overheats, use a thermal pack and it will start to recharge instantly.

I love the CSMG, just wish it had a bigger base clip, maybe the size of the Lancer's base clip when deployed on a Destroyer. :-)

Pretty much forced to use the extended clip ... would really like to have either the HVB+PM and run it with my casters, give them a great weapon, plus magnify their powers, plus leave me open for warp or incendiary ammo. Or go with EB+PM and AP ammo. But the base clip is just too small without the clip mod.

Love the accuracy and lack of recoil. Love how it deploys ammo effects. Love not being wedded to an ammo box. Love the light weight for my casters.

I havent read 1 single post in this thread..all i know for a fact is the Collector SMG chews thru armor.... I like it more than the Hurricane
