Source.Meanwhile, de Fondaumière added further ambiguity to the ongoing speculation that Beyond, due out in October, will be ported to PS4.
Following mixed messages, we asked the Quantic Dream executive whether the game would be released for Sony's next-gen console.
"That's not been decided yet," he replied.

Is there any chance that it will be released for the PS4? currently it is only listed for the PS3 on Amazon, and this game might be enough for me to make the jump from Xbox to Playstation, but only if it's on the PS4, as I don't want to spend money on a console that will become obsolete in 2-3 years.
If you would indulge my curiosity for a moment what is it about this game that would make you jump from Xbox to Playstation in order to play this title alone? Since you made that statement I will assume you don't have a PS3 in which I will also assume you haven't played Heavy Rain which is what I am assuming Beyond will be like. Considering Heavy Rain was pretentious garbage created to appeal to idiots that think claiming to like such rubbish makes them look artistic and cultured (like an emperor wearing a suit made of invisible silk) what exactly is it that you see in Beyond: Two Souls that makes you want to make the jump to Playstation for this game alone?

Well, speaking as one of the idiots to whom Heavy Rain was appealing enough to be one reason to buy a PS3 back in the day I have to say that Beyond still hasn't won me over. I liked Heavy Rain a lot despite it's flaws (and it let me bathe in the glorious feeling of being cultured and liking artsy stuff - awesome! ^^), but somehow Beyond still hasn't made an impression on me that made me think "I want this". And I like Page and Dafoe.
But I guess I'll end up playing it sooner or later, so whatevs, man.
