Hopefully we can start putting reservations down on the PS4 at our local stores after E3.

I'm leaning toward PC. I have a kinect for the 360 but can't use it because my room is too small. Just like Rawgrim I would have to try and rearrange my room without blocking my door to even be able to play the Xbox One.

Neither. I'm thinking of getting a PS3 but I'll wait for the price to drop. The 3DS is superior anyway.

On principle im not going to touch the new xbox with a ten foot pole. Pre owned fees, mandatory installations, have to log in once every 24 hours, kinect thats spys on you... yeah... Have they gone completely insane?

PC, Wii U and 3ds are the plan tentatively. Still exploring what I can get out of this tablet. Maybe esoteric stuff like Steambox or Oculus Rift (ok not a console but still a big deal and games would have to be specifically designed for it, I take it) if they're coming anytime soon and if they end up being good.

PS4....the whole paying an extra fee to play your friends game and the whole fiasco with the used games aspect is just plain silly. Locking accounts or your account being locked into certain games...etc..etc..really?
And that aspect just flies over everybody's head like it's a good thing?...we purchased the game, why are we now being restricted to play that game on another xbox machine?..without paying some absurd extra fee?.....folks who fall for that okie-doke are just blind sheep...

Neither, PC ftw and if I need to play a good console, I can play a system that doesn't pretend to be a PC. Namely Nintendo, my freaking SNES still works to this day.
Also, Rawgrim, pc games are so cheap with sales on gog.com, steam, desura, direct 2 drive, and what not, that there's no real excuse to pirate.

Haven't decided if I'm returning to consoles, if I am PS4 seems the most likely, if not going back to PC.

It used to be running gag in college with my PS2 obsessed friend just how much I hated Sony as a company. I have both this generation, but have only 5 games on PS3 as always prefer the controller on xbox and use PS3 for media mostly.
As for the new gen, I'm pretty much ready to stick with 360 and takes up a new hobby when it stops being developed for. I may even switch to PC because I hated the reveal of Xbox one, the used game fiasco is terrible but Kinnect which I hate is now forced on me, so definitely not buying it. PS4 is more gaming centric but I have feeling the 'fee' will be introduced there as well, plus I don't enjoy playing with their controller so doubtful I would buy.
If I do go console route I hate to say it as huge xbox 360 fan, that it would be PS4.

Ps4, Microsoft shot themselves in he foot with the one. For single player things like the total war series and witcher 3 will be upgrading my PC

Well I still don't see any games yet that I want to play for any of the next gen consoles.... If PS4 had backward compatible I probably would get a PS4 and get the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection. I missed most of the PS3 era. So it would be nice to get all the games I missed on that system.
EDIT: Oh I will not be getting a Xbox One due to the inane paid to install the game again on another profile on the same xbox. And if its true I have to be connected to the internet once a day to play my games I will certainly not want to buy this garbage.
