No wonder EA went out and dropped their online registration bit for their games this week. Its not needed anymore when Microsoft does this. Plenty of EA exclusive stuff on the new xbox though....

PS4, but E3 will decide everything for me. Hell would freeze over before I turned into a PC gamer.

An interesting statement considering both consoles are, essentially, a PC.

I hope that some of the BW developers will give their impressions on both of the new consoles from a tech perspective. To us ignorants out there, it seems the two consoles spec out about the same, but I bet there's a lot more to consider (like how all the non-gaming functions of XBOX will hinder its pure-gaming experience).

500 gigabyte harddrive on the new xbox. With forced installing of games, that one will fill up fast. The Cloud useage for savegames and such, of course, requires you to have an xbox live gold subscription. Pay extra to have savegames...

In my case, it'll ultimately depend on the games and on which of the consoles is the more "global" of the two.

I'll probably just build a new PC and get a PS4 down the line.

I already have two hard drives on my PC (more than 1700 GB combined), 8 GB of Ram and I want to buy a new Graphic Card in the first half of 2014. So I'll remain as part of PC master race happily!

I'll give the ps4 some consideration but I've wanted to get a decent gaming pc for some time now since I'm more into rpgs. I've never liked the ps dualshock controllers, but I could probably get used to it.

I'll stick to my PC, both consoles are already outdated if you ask me. The only thing that the PS4 has that is better than my PC is the 8GB GDDR5 memory but that's it. Xbox 1 runs at 1.6 GHz and PS4 at 2.0 GHz which is pretty low compared to what you can run with a PC.

PC.

And if push comes to shove, it's easy to find emulators. Console exclusitivity only works between consoles, PC don't care!

I've been consolized over the last few years. I simply prefer to game in my easy chair in my living room with my large screen tv. I'll have to wait to see re games for each of those systems.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't GDDR5 only for graphics cards? If so, do you mean to say you have an 8GB GDDR5 video card?

I'll be sticking with my PC. Microsoft made my decision quite easy, I'll probably get a PS4 when the price goes down and if they have a decent gaming lineup within that time.

You know, nothing's keeping you from hooking up a PC to a compatible TV, maybe exchange m/k for a gamepad or get a chair table and do all that ... in 1080p.

Maybe both but the PC FTW now and always.
