Y u no start?
Just finished the ME1 playthrough and was looking to play ME2 again but "no", ME2 apparently likes to play hide and seek. Or not show up to the party at all, damn killjoy.
Tried everything, game won't launch no matter what. I thought that issue was fixed looong time ago?
Damn you Mass Effect 2

Do you have digital version or hard copy? What I had to do in a similar instance, in my case I lost the disk but had it linked to origin I could simply uninstall and reinstall. Now no disk needed. Try linking it to origin and doing that or simply uninstall and reinstall if you have the disk.

Ahaha, I feel so stupid right now.
The reason the game didn't start was because I forgot to apply the ME2INI fixer after I modded my coalescend.ini, lol.
Move along everybody, nothing to see here.

If you haven't already, you should give this here a shot:
www.moddb.com/mods/eudaimonium
Less bland gameplay all things considered, and puts to shame the claim that a hybrid-system 'would not work'. Manual editing of other Coalesced-edits is required - armour customization, for one - but it works neatly enough.

Nah, all I wanted is Shields and barriers no longer blocking powers, but armor still protecting against those.
Turns out I can only disable the power protection, because Armor and Barriers aren't viable references in the .ini without modding the SFXGame.pcc, which I can't. Also tweaked the vanilla weapons to do more damage when wielded by squadmates. not the full 100% damage, but slightly less (around 80% because squadmates have greater accuracy and no recoil!), with variation for different fire-modes (single shot weapons like snipers get 95% because of low RoF and high damage drop if missed, burst fire weapons get 85% damage because lower RoF, shotguns get 95% because squadmates will shoot from distance and hardly hit anything at all).
That's all I need.
Zaeed with Mantis is awesome!
