I figured Nintendo didn't want to compete with the PS4 console reveal and Sony and Microsoft's respective lineups, but they should've.
They indeed should have. They could have easily stand their own against Sony and Microsoft by showing us their superior game line-up. Nintendo makes and publishes great games, and they would definitely be capable of convincing some people to buy a Wii U if they would show their great games to the world.
What superior game line-up?!?

That got an audible sound out of me. And I pulled a muscle around the right side of my jaw.
Good job.
If Valve really wanted to, they could host a PC release event. They and Blizzard are practically the voices of the PC market anyway.

Does anyone know who will show E3 on TV since it won't be G4?

Imagine how much business could be drawn up for Microsoft or Sony if they revealed at E3 that they were adopting a sale-type service akin to Steam Sales?
Holy hell. That game no one was buying at $60 a pop anymore? Now its $10. Oh, you need to sell 6 times as more to make a profit? Who cares, you're selling a hundred times as much.
Exaggeration, but you get the point.

As with anything, it depends on the execution. For instance, why doesn't Origin offer these same level sales as we see on Steam? Probably because you are required to use Origin for every EA game you play on the PC. They have you as a captive market... they have no need to offer crazy sales to get you to use their service.
I can see the EXACT same thing happening with a Sony/MS service. You'll have to deal with their system if you play any game on their console, so why would they throw any crazy sales? It isn't like you can use another program to download and play games on the X1/PS4, respectively.

Didn't Origin have crazy sales in it's infancy?

If you have cable! Are there places to watch live streams online?
LPPrince wrote...
Yeah, along with other publication sites having links to them at least. I usually just go with an IGN stream unless someone else links me to another one, i.e. Gamespot.
LPPrince wrote...
I like the streams because they're live, so that way I can see things along with everyone else rather than catching it later.
We're about two weeks away now.
