PS+ is a much better deal than XBL considering all the discounts and free games. It sucks that they're charging for online multiplayer though.

PS Plus is awesome anyway, and if charging for people to use multiplayer online enables that 399 price then I'd say it's worth it.

What can they do? They can't back down now. The only thing they really can do is try and either justify the price and everything else, which is nearly impossible or try and buy more exclusives to keep them away from Sony. Surely publishers would see where the bigger install base is going to be though.

how? The multiplayer fee is the only blemish on an otherwise amazing package. And seeing as how PS+ is cheaper than XBL and the PS4 retails for $100USD less than the XdOne (likely the cause of the installation of the fee) I'd say that staying with Sony is just smart for the consumer's perspective.

I'm a part of the master race but watching Xbox one crumbling is fun mostly because their business practice is just very anti-consumer. I spent 5 bucks on worse crap, so I don't mind paying for online. To be honest though, online fee or not, it's justifiable to continue to support PS4 due to the crap Microsoft pull with Xbox One.
