I wonder how Nintendo will turn this around after Sony's amazing show yesterday.

So far, I really liked Metal Gear Solid V, Watch Dogs..and that is it.

MGS V looks amazing.

Quantum Break looks like it could be interesting.

Dead Rising 3 looks like it could finally be the DR game I've been hoping for (none of that bs timed crap that eventually prohibits exploration).

Watch Dogs...seems neat, but I need to see more.

Mad Max ... hopefully this is awesome.

Dragon Age III ... the trailer didn't wow me but of course I'll be grabbing it.

Everything else seems meh. I don't love the XB1 but I'm taking a 'wait and see' approach. The PS4 seems cool. Disappointed to see how the Final Fantasy series continues to look worse and worse.

Meh, I'm still in favor of PS4

Because some of the games at the M$ conference that interested me were multiplat

Well this is no doubt in response to he massive loses SE posted this year. Still, unless MS secures rights to the other KH titles then KH3 being on Xbox is a moot point. The story is so complicated at this point that if MS players jump in at 3 they'll be completely lost.

And with Sony hinting that we can expect to be able to play all previous PS game on PS4 through streaming/digital services at some point ( meaning the other KH games), it seems a bit strange that they'd make KH3 multiplat if they didn't plan to put KH1-DDD on Xbox at some point.

But they need the money so whatevs, still totally sold on PS4 at this point.

but I suppose I'll have to get an Xboner at some point to play Halo 5 :/

Goddamn, saw the teaser trailer for Monolith Softs Xenoblade sequel. Open world JRPG with big f*** off mechs? Amazing. Wonderful 101 looks like it could be great fun too, effectively being an RTS Beat-em-up Shooter mashup with superheroes. It also looks like if you were to mix Viewtiful Joe with Pikmin then adding sprinkles of Gurren Lagann on top. What's not to love about that?

Wii U finally getting more games, including some exciting 3rd party exclusives.

The fanbase is still mostly gonna be Sony for KH3. Final Fantasy 13 failed miserably on Xbox360 after all. Xbox is not known for their Japanese games. Seeing as how Xbox did badly in Japan. I think this is Microsoft's way of breaking into Japan's gaming market.

 Konami just released extended MGS V trailer. A little warning - it's... bloody. I cannot wait for the release of that song "Sins of the Father".

Hm, it seems like I look forward to play more indie and kickstarted titles than AAA games in year 2014. E3 hasn't shown anything new and unique. The event is definitely fun to watch, though.

japanese will never support an american company.Especially after Xbone failed so badly with all these restrictions

Well they definitely were having problems on stage with the games both AC4 and Destiny (were there others?) but that might have been a problem with the console being hooked up to the screen.  What I could never understand is why they don't have prerecorded gameplay and have the guy pretend he is playing it.

I heard old man's KFC is pretty big in Japan, you even need reservation several months in advance during Christmas. iPhones are a big deal in Japan as well. While I don't deny that there is some xenophobia in Japan, when it comes to American products, it all boils down to whether the products appealing to them. The downfall of Xbox in Japan is that they lack Japanese dev's support. Most of their Xbox games don't cater to their taste. Japanese gamers are more in RPG while Xbox games often focus on FPS or fast pace actions. I feel like it's a step in the right direction for them to get more Japanese games to their system. On the other hand, they failed miserably when it comes consumers' rights. We'll see.
