I may get a Wii U myself eventually. It may not have any good third party titles, but that's what I have a PC for.OdanUrr wrote...

according to Rajat Taneja from EA, that would still leave your PC "a generation behind" the PS4 and Xbone.TheBlackBaron wrote...
How on earth did we get to talking about Macs? I'll give them this, Apple makes some real pretty screens, but that's about it.
Plus for the price of a MacBook Pro I could buy two 7990's.

Aye. Its just that Nintendo's lineup never interested me. Besides Smash and Pokémon, I'm just not that into Nintendo games.

Reminds of me when the NFL claims over a billion people watch the Super Bowl. Like, we know guys, the Super Bowl is huge. You don't have to remind us. The hyperbole isn't ncessary.

What do you know about Xbox One? It doesn't need to respect privacy. It is popular--or will be--more popular than any console there ever was except for Windows 8. What will they care for privacy--what will they care, the Windows 8 PC and Xbox One, when--when--

I can watch someone play them, but I have no desire to play them. Doesn't mean I won't recognize legendary titles like Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, but you know.
Water Temples and all that.

With Vita already on the market, Sony had to announce this asap. Waiting until E3 may have cost bigtime.
Not a big deal for me now, but interesting.
And I hope they give Beyond: Two Souls a ps4 port.

Such a system would be cool, but it would limit game development in a huge way. Graphics, processing capabilities and function would be determined by what the Vita could handle, not what the PS4 could. I like retro gaming as much as the next person, but the Vita is like a portable PS2 in a lot of ways. To have every game on the PS4 limited by the requirement that it also work on the no old Vita would be incredibly challenging to work around.

Don't know how well that'll go, but hey, we'll find out soon enough.
Though that first one is during the second day of E3. Isn't that usually when Sony's up?

It could be a pretty smart way to steal the spotlight from Sony, then. If people are lining up at Best Buy's to play Nintendo demos, they won't be watching any of the PS4 reveals...?

Regardless, if its at the same time as Sony's press conference(which I don't believe it is, I mean the demos are playable from 4 to 8 PM), its a boon for Microsoft.

I'd say any success, period, for Nintendo is a boon for Microsoft. If Nintendo can get a firmer grip on the Asian market, then Sony will have to fight them tooth and nail for the advantage on the home front, which would give MS more room to spread its legs in North America and Europe.
Assuming MS can get off its current tailspin of a trajectory, of course.
