I wonder if gamers will riot if consoles ever hit a graphical plateau? That's the improvement a lot of gamers expect out of a next gen console. If "next-gen" ceased to exist I'd love to see what happened.

If people are truly offended, ok. But I really wonder what these peoples lives are like in the real world. They don't hear things like this on a regular basis, especially in good natured, competitive setting, like games?

I guess it's 'shocking' because it's on a public, professional level.

I don't believe so. I'll tell ya, if I could get a Wiiu for 150 to 200 bucks, it's a push- Just for Bayonetta 2. Bayonetta 1 is a masterpiece.

I have a feeling that it's this. Half of these reporters would be freaking out if they heard half the stuff in any competitive setting, be it gamers or athletes.

Concerning Nintendo, in addition to exclusive third party games, a new Donkey Kong, Mario 3D, Smash Bros, Zelda Wind Waker remaker... the stuff that will move more Wii-Us off the shelves.

yeah, Par for the Course- non of that stuff interests me. I did think Bayontta 2 looks AMAZING tho, to bad it's a triple A game on a failing console. Dumb move platinum games. Dumb. I wonder if plantinum games gets consultated by the same firm Microsoft does. Seems legit. 

If I got a Bayonetta bundle for say 200-250 bucks, I'd buy it day 1 tho.

That's the most incomplete rundown on Nintendo ever. Sure, their Nintendo Direct sucked, but surely they showed more than that.


Here is a proper rundown on Nintendo:

The biggest titles they showed are: Mario Kart 8, Mario 3D World, Sonic Lost World, Smash Bros, Donkey Kong Country and Zelda Wind Waker HD.

The only noticable 3rd party exclusive was Bayonetta 2, which looked quite awesome.

Basically, the Nintendo Direct was pretty predictable and nothing really surprised me. I'm a Nintendo fanboy, and I have to say, that the Nintendo Direct was a dissapointment. I expected more, such as a PROPER new 3D Mario game (like Mario 64, Sunshine or Galaxy) and an ACTUAL NEW Zelda game (rather than only a remake of The Wind Waker).
Mario Kart 8 looked really good though and it seems that game is going to be a lot of fun.

You're quite ignorant on the matter it seems.

Nintendo is the company who's funding and publishing Bayonetta 2. Nintendo paid a lot of money to get Bayonetta 2 on the WiiU and it's thanks ot Nintendo that there even is a Bayonetta 2 in the first place. Without Nintendo, Platinum Games would not even be making a Bayonetta 2 game, they said so themselves.
