Can someone point to me, where exactly is the offence in that video.... the "It will be over soon" - really people, as he stated - she was in a sense, getting demolished.

I wouldn't call it an outrage, but their exchange sounded scripted to me and at the time I thought it was inappropriate dialog to script.  Either it was scripted and they were trying to be 'edgy' and are now disavowing what they wrote, or their presenter should have been better trained.

Whether you think it is being overblown or not, SOMEBODY should have been smart enough to make sure this didn't happen.  It's horrible PR if only for the fact that people are talking about this instead of the product they were promoting.

How is his wording inappropriate?  Even when watching that live, it didn't click for me that I should be offended or that the woman seem offended, ah I don't know, I just find that whole thing ridiculous.

Neon, if you're going to "joke", please cook up something better than ... uh, that.

I missed the Wind Waker HD portion of the conference due to the stream lock-ups. Anything new?

Here ya go buddy.

(hat tip)

I've only watched two minutes of it and I'm already thinking irrationally about buying a WiiU, once the price comes down a good bit.

Wait until you get to 3:00 and see one of the only concerns that most Wind Waker fans had with the game fanishing in front of your eyes.

Indeed. I was very happy when I saw that. Great to see the team learned from the mistakes and improved them for the remake. Still sad it's not a new Zelda game, but a remake of WW is still good in my books :wizard:

Monster Hunter 3 is a Wii-U exclusive that's been out for a few months. There would probably be a thread 10+ pages long here if it wasn't exclusive to the dreaded Wii-U.

I haven't played 3DS version, because I hear the controls can be tough without a controller add-on.

Wind Waker(Never played the original), Bayonetta 2, Donkey Kong & Smash Bros.. heck even the Mario games have been intrigued to get a Wii-U sooner than expected -- Later this year I think. Will probably fetch the PS4 first as it is quite cheaper than expected.

Huzzah! Man, that's great. I have memories of holding the thumb-stick down, walking to the kitchen, and grabbing some food before I've even reached my destination in the boat.

I did think Bayontta 2 looks AMAZING tho, to bad it's a triple A game on a failing console. Dumb move platinum games. Dumb. I wonder if plantinum games gets consultated by the same firm Microsoft does. Seems legit.

You're quite ignorant on the matter it seems.

Nintendo is the company who's funding and publishing Bayonetta 2. Nintendo paid a lot of money to get Bayonetta 2 on the WiiU and it's thanks ot Nintendo that there even is a Bayonetta 2 in the first place. Without Nintendo, Platinum Games would not even be making a Bayonetta 2 game, they said so themselves.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Adding a second level of speed to the ship makes Wind Waker HD 100x better than the original by that feature alone. Monolith Soft's "X" is also looking very impressive. The Wonderful 101 too.

I've played this a bunch of times, and I cannot see anything to make a fuss about.

I actually got into a big back and forth over it with a friend of mine who's insulted by it, her saying they shouldn't of had a woman up there getting humiliated and...you know where the rest was going.

Pseudo social justice crusaders are annoying.

Yeah, sometimes. Only when the Epic glibness of the internet calls for it.

On one hand his comments are pretty questionable, on the other hand he was probably put on the spot to say something to defuse her incessant whining.

Sure. Who really care's. I don't. Everything I said was true- Wiiu sale's are lack luster, sega is incompentent, nintendo paid plantinum games for Bayonetta 2 exclusivity. Bayonetta is amazing. I would buy a wii u if it was 200 bucks or less. The games on wiiU that aren't 1st party are old, rehashed games- ME3, Batman Arkham City, Deus Ex. EA will not makes games for wiiU, ect, ect. But who care's it's E3 and it's a fun time to be into games. So go have fun.

Nuff said.

Nice, the new way's to fight bosses looks really cool. And Plus, I wonder if the graphics will be updated too. I know for Missing Link DLC the lighting was noticeably better. This is good news. But I bet they'll charge a full 60 bucks for it.

Yeah, I do too.  I HOPE it will be lower, but I'm not expecting it.  They are doing additional work to port to the other platforms with corresponding tablet support, so I won't begrudge them TOO much.  Looks like PS3 is out of luck on the tablet option though, so I'll have to pick up the 360 version...

Neither am I, I expect it to be full price, :(:(, but Deus Ex HR is an awesome game, one of my favorites this gen. The additons to the boss battles are really great alone. We'll see how it works on smart glass I guess.

I would be much more excited for Wind Waker HD if they added bulls-eyes in the water to augment my pig-off-a-cliff exercises.
