Damn, Sony didn't announce the price of PS4 for Brazil or Latin America.
I'm sure it will be the equivalent of US and EU currency- $399.99 US.

It's logical with the actual dumb laws, I don't even get mad anymore.
I will just have to buy the PS4 (or the X1) in the black market like I've did with the current generation which is a shame because I don't contribute to the company who makes the console.

Only if Sony builds the PS4 in their factory here.
The situation here in Brazil is complicated because the law is dumb and videogames are equal to gambling in terms of taxes so if they bring the PS4 from other countries already built it will be almost sure that the console will be extremely expensive.

Damn bro, I'm sorry. Why is gaming considered a 'red light' type of hobby? I find this interesting.

Basically because when videogames started being imported here to Brazil in the 80s the Congress didn't know how to classify them in the fiscal laws and with the deturped view that videogames are addictive they put them in the gambling section of the law with some heavy taxation.
And since videogames are considered luxury items and helps the government to collect huge amounts of money with taxes there's no hurry or pressure for them to change the laws even if now they know the classification is absolutely horrendous.

Metal Gear 1 and 2 are part of the series, are canon and are events explained in MGS1.
I'd really love a full blown remake of those two games. It would honestly be a completely new experience for the overwhelming majority of MGS players since Metal Gear 1 and 2 are so obscure.

Thanks for the answers in regards to Nintendo's E3. It actually looks very good, which will make the choice between a Wii U and a PS 4 that much harder.

That should be their next big project for the series after MGS5 is out. It'd be the perfect time to do so.
