Analysts suspect that it will be about 50 dollars lower. We'll see if that's true.

xbone is a steal 499.99 + 60 for a game + XBL which is mandatory to work

If you've already made up your mind as to what you're going to get, good for you. That doesn't mean you should rain on the parade of those who enjoy something you didn't, nor should you be acting like your opinions are facts all of a sudden.

Its cool if you're stickin PC, its cool if you're going PS4, its cool if you're going X1, its cool if you're going Wii-U(which no one seems to be talking about).

And i don't buy them because they are too expensive

I did not buy that for 2 years until the price became reasonable

Yes but PC's are notoriosly more expensive than consoles

And i don't buy them because they are rip offs

That's great. My only point is though that there's no reason to complain about the pricing of a console that comes with so much stuff packed in, when there are other devices out there for the same, if not more expensive, that do much, much less (iPad).

If there are other legitimate complaints about the system then that's that.

Actually, the evidence of the current generation is of the contrary: consumers will buy whichever console best caters to the exclusives or games they are interested in, and they will buy whichever console comes with features they will most likely use, such as TV, Blu-Ray, etc.

Case-in-point, Dead Rising fans will likely buy Xbox One for the fact it will be the only system with Dead Rising 3. Or COD for DLC timed exclusivity, etc.

All it has to be is $50 less and thats a major advantage. $100 less might be too much of a difference in the end though, thats a LOT of money lost if they go that low.

To be honest, they'll probably be fine if they went $499 as well.

I don't see why Sony would price the PS4 much cheaper, they get away with charging around £400 for a smart phone, in my slightly schewed logic I'd think if people are willing to pay that, then they would be willing to pay more for a console.

The big price I'm hoping for is a PS3 price drop so I can get The Last of Us.
