It does. EA's conference consisted of boring sports games, that linear, generic militar shooter called Battlefield 4, a teaser for Battlefront 3 that has a big chance of turning out bad with EA behind it, and a reboot to a game series that could be equally ruined by EA(although, I will admit that I'm interested in it).

Edit: Plus, The Division gets points for being a new IP. That in itself makes it cool.

It's so long since the original game was released and it was so underappreciated that a sequel would undermine the sales of the game.

Nintendo is not done. It has the best handheld console on the market and dares to innovate.

Besides, Nintendo has a tendency to give an E3 conference that is awesome, especially one that stands out amongst every other company at the event.
