Capt - if there's a next time, I recommend recording voices through the IRC channel or something else via PC

His advice, like that of all wise old Krogan, is to get close, stop whining, and start killing with whatever and  however you kill best. Be your own warrior, do not bow to those who would hold you back, but take initiative, and find your inner warrior, that inner fire, and let it out to consume your foes!

You don't bat an eye at putting the Acolyte & Hurricane as standard issue weapons.

I do it all the time. I fear no recrimination for my Acolyte/Hurricane love, for our love is pure and eternal and will outlast all the haters. <3

But I think I see what you're getting at... Felicia's "virgin loadout" probably shouldn't have two of the most powerful guns in the game...
