I think that Microsoft should stick to Windows.

Have you seen Win 8?  They can't even do Windows right anymore.

The only time I've seen Windows 8 was on those tablet spots. Otherwise, no, I haven't. I have heard something about being required to be online to use Windows 8 or something. I don't know.

Cable's cool. Netflix and premium movie channels are killing network TV.

I am also not wrong when I say that I, (Me)- meaning a singular personal pronoun, do not know any COD gamer that plays splitscreen. All the people I know fapp off hard to COD's silly, but fun, MP.

I hope this clarifies things. And you and I are copacetic.

I was talking to some friends today who aren't bias fanboys- owners of both consoles and pc's. And they said that all Microsoft has to is- not restrict used games, not always online (well, it's pretty much always online, needs internet every 24 hours), and a kinect-less model priced at or around 450 bucks.

I think these are reasonable things that microsoft should consider. Microsoft will not go down without a fight, and the raging fan-boysism of the internet is just a wh*re of the moment complex.

It ain't over. Not by a long shot. Microsoft still has exclusive content and still has halo. Their still very, very much alive.

Their exclusive stuff is not really that good and Halo is not enough for all the cons. There's also the issue of M$ giving the finger to indie devs where Sony has embraced them with a big hug.

I must be the only one who doesn't care at all about playing indie games on my console.

Like, seriously. If I'm interested in their game, I'll just go buy it directly from them for my PC, and they'll keep a bigger portion of the money I spend on it too.

me too, the only indie games I really enjoyed was Journey, and the Walking Dead. But like you said, indie games aren't gonna sell me, lol. I was just on the xbox forums. And I do think MS is gonna change it's buisness model for XB1, if not, they're gonna loose a lot. A TON. of costumers. I'll get an XB1- cause I don't think I can live without Halo. I've tired, but I always come back. Even BF3 on PC hasn't taken me away from Halo 4. So for me, Halo 4 is enough. But if I were a console only gamer. I gotta tell ya, the PS4- right now, looks  a lot better than XB1. Time will tell.

Just because you don't know any who used the splitscreeen doesn't mean people don't use it

Because I used it myself sometimes playing COD in the past

nope. XB1 is 500 bucks. PS4 is 400.

Sony said that PSN will be 5 bucks or lower (lets just say 5 bucks for the sake of muffins and giggles) per month in order to play Online games on PS4. 5 multiplied by 12= 60. If you want to play online games Day 1 on PS4 then you'll have to buy PSN plus for 5 bucks a month or 60 bucks a year.

400 (cost of PS4) + 60 (Cost of PSN for a year)= 460. 460 US dollars. I mean, you know it could be 4.90 bucks a month, it could be 4.75, it could be 4.35 a month. But bottom line is. It's not free. PSN on PS3 is free. PS4 is not. It's the truth.

XB1 will do the same.

Both sony and MS are shafting gamers. Sony is just shafting you a little less at release.

You keep adding in a year of online service to the cost of consoles as if it's required. And you keep bringing up PSN on PS4. What part of "Things I already know about" did you not understand?

Having PS+ be required for multiplayer doesn't affect me personally as I already pay for the service for the sh!t ton of free games and other stuff (In fact I just downloaded Xcom: Enemy Unknown and LBP Karting for free today).

It's a little disappointing that they are restricting online MP to PS+ users, but I suppose they had no choice if they wanted to undercut MS on the console price point.

Think about it. For you or me it's just one payment of $399. But for Sony they are thinking "Okay, we are going to sell XXXX number of PS4s at $399 and that will make us XXXXX amount of money. In order to maintain our profit margarine we will need to garner outside revenue." They chose to turn to users that either own PS3 and don't pay for PS+ but still use the online features of games as well as users that won't mind the extra fee. Sods like me that already pay for the service don't matter because they need NEW money to get away with charging so little for the console.

tldr: If you already pay for PS+ than who the fvck cares, and if not than it is rather disappointing to see multiplayer become a paid service.

The Xbone reveal still amuses me w/ how they were promoting it as being good for watching lotsa TV and sports, as well as linear military shooters. I like the part where Steven Spielberg comes on to talk about the new Halo TV series as if that was going to insta-awesome the Xbone even though a Halo TV series has as much relevance to a video game console as I Love Lucy.

To this day I still wonder what the hell Microsoft was thinking. No one could be that stupid.

"There are other means like Gamecom and TGS"..... That's when they're gonna announce big changes if they do. And I think they will. All they gotta do is not require online, not block used games and I think they'll be competitive. They're sweating it. Unless they know they're gonna change some things. I think they have to. If they stay the same, they're done. And done.

From my perspective, even if they do end up giving in to angry consumers and drop the online requirement, the required kinect, and the used-game policy, I have built up enough resentment at their arrogance and audacity to never purchase the xbox1 from them despite any concessions they make. You don't **** with customers like this.

Yes. Microsoft was attempting to dictate the way the market should work instead of allowing consumers to exercise their power to influence the market.

How intellectually dishonest can you get? Sure, the xbox360 has no online requirement, but Don, what about the part about new games not being released for the xbox360 anymore? And what about the improved performance and graphics of the xbox1 over the xbox360?

This guy is a shmuck.
