You guys seriously need to learn how to hold the PS3 Controller properly, I feel embarassed reading some posts.
You'll never want a fat controller back once you figured it out.

And YES, I have big hands myself and it's still not a problem.
Give it a chance and don't put it down after 5 min while thinking screw this.
Seriously.

I've played Xbox and Xbox 360 probably about 10 times as much as I've played the Playstation consoles, but I still do own a PS2 and PS3.  I've always very, very much preferred Xbox's controllers, especially the 360.  It's all about the comfort, and I've never had trouble with the mechanics.

PS controllers just don't "fit".  It's like they didn't think about ergonomics at all when designing it.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone seen this thread? One of my friends haunts NeoGAF and linked it for me.

Xbox One to only work in certain countries at launch

There's a link to Microsoft's pre-order product info in the thread too.

That's half of the goddamn world. Maybe even less than that...are you ****ing serious, Microsoft?

This bit made me lol: "So, in Poland you can MAKE The Witcher 3, for XBOne... you just can't play it. ;-)"

Is microft trying to cater to the money crowd? And implied "exclusivity" through marketing and branding? (will they take the apple approach?) It's all I can figure.....cause this makes no sense. I'm disappointed because I was willing to go with xbox this gen. Sony has issues with their servers....and I'm a bit upset that psn purchases won't carry over (I've mostly come to peace with that....just have to hope my ps3 doesn't ylod). There was the shut down of psn for WEEKS and sony screwed over psp go adopters with false promises of digital copy trades for the physical disks. Not to mention the whole issue (was it spyware?) with mp3s. So, I was hopeful for the new xbox. And then there was the disappointing reveal. And the complete lack of "loljustkidding! nevermind! we fixed it!" at e3.

Unless the console has issues, I'll go with ps4. I just can't get with microsoft unless they get rid of the bs. And I don't think I can afford a decent pc gaming setup. It is what it is.

Xbox LIVE for Xbox 360 is currently available in 41 countries:

http://www.xbox.com/.../Live/Countries

That means LIVE for Xbox One won't support the following countries from the above list:

Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hong Kong (not really a country but whatever), Hungary, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates.

Congratulations, Microsoft, you're going backwards.^_^

"How many people in my family can play my games at the same time as me?"

So wait, does this mean that 4 player split screen won't be a thing on Xbox One?

The 360's controller may seem more ergonomic, but it's not. I never used a playstation much myself, playing mostly just the gamecube and the 360 before switching to PC, and now my left thumb is about 4mm longer than my right thumb. I blame the placement of the analog sticks.

Eh, japan isn't surprising. Nobody really gives a damn about the box there. So that might be a "smart" choice for them.

Xbox never has a chance in Japan. Sony and Nintendo own there, because they produce more games to match the Japanese tastes.

Now see, I've always owned all three consoles, but I have three brothers, and we've ALWAYS played together. When Sony said that the PS3 would finally allow 4 players without a multitap we freaked out.

The only reason I'm going to eventually pick up an Xbox One is for Halo 5 and 6, but if there is no splitscreen then I don't really see a point...

Bungie is releasing Destiny on the xbone, but no wonder they got out. And they have exclusive partnership with Sony, too. Some of it maybe due to no prior relationship, but think, wouldn't MS be able to get that? You'd think.

Xbox One Achievements:

http://kotaku.com/xb...s-how-513031888

The good:

Achievements no longer only unlock...achievements. Or avatar gear. They can now also be rigged to provide users with "digital artwork, new maps, unlockable characters, and temporary stat boosts".

The bad:

Games aren't the only things that will grant you achievements. You can now earn them doing other stuff on your Xbox One, like watching video or using music apps. Completionists can expect to spend a lot of time...doing stuff that's not gaming.
