I'm glad to see that video game consoles are getting into the whole heavy advertisement thing. Is this Microsoft trying to compensate for the losses that this turd of a console will cause?

Seriously, don't people know that game is going to suck? What you saw at E3 was not a good representation of the final product. It's made by one of the worse developers that makes games like this.

I keep reading articles but I cant figure out where Microsofts arrogance is coming from. They are getting destroyed PR wise and yet they keep giving out more news that just upsets people more and shrugging it off.

How do you all feel about the shared games library? I do think it's cool to be able to share your library with 10 others (yeah, only one "family" member plus yourself can play one of your games at the same time, but it sounds good.)

And might this be similar to steam? Could the xbox end up having awesome digital sales? (don't know how likely this is, but for fun, pretend it will happen)

For those who are as of now switching to sony, are these two things enough to get you to stay with xbox instead of switching to sony? Or do the negatives still outweigh the positives.

I think they're hoping that the "it's not that bad" crowd outnumbers the complaining one when it comes to actually buying the console and not just screaming on the internet about it.

They also seem to think that the X360 will still be relevant and people will be buying and playing games for that if they have issues with the X1, because apparently the response to connection issues with the DRM of the X1 is for you to not buy their product.

I'm really not sure why their PR department hasn't told Don Mattrick to be quiet yet.

That is very unfair, to be a developer under those restraits and still being able to develop a game is very hard.  They're restricted to developing to the movie timelime, that is why those games suck, but hey, if I had to work under those type of limitations, my game would suck too.  Now they're not, so give them a chance.
