I highly doubt EA will be willing to put all their eggs in one basket. Makes no sense from a business standpoint and they are a business.

Yeah, the person PM'ing me suggested it but I doubt it entirely.

If that choice was made, its purely to further annoy gamers.

Jade Empire was originally an Xbox exclusive right? Hmm.........

It still came to the PC, just like every Bioware game that started as a Xbox exclusive.

So it could be an Xbone timed exclusive then, yes plz EA and Xbone make this happen.

yeah if any BW games are Xbone exclusives I will sob.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

:crying:

I hate youtubing BW games. You don't even get a sliver of the experience. =]

Unless your watching a completionist Image IPB

True! :wizard:

And yeah MS seems to shove their fingers in their ears when it suits them. We all do it but I'm not banking millions if not billions on it.

My reaction to the Xbox One reveal was to go out and buy a PS3.

yea

they aren't gamers

they don't CARE about playing games. They are interested in watching television and looking at pretty CGI things, while calling others on skype with their voice activated TV remote controls

they don't actually want to play games

Really?  I consider myself a hardcore gamer and I'm still mildly interested in those things.  They're obviously not my focus, but since when is having additional features a negative?  We'll see how much Microsoft cares about its gamers in the near future.  I'll reserve judgement until then.

You'd think Microsoft would've anticipated this reaction.

Indeed. A few articles said they were "shocked".

It shows how out of touch this company really is with just about everything. Just look at who's in charge...

Image IPB

Does that look like the kinda guy you want in charge of anything?

After the #dealwithit disaster, they're shocked.

Um yeah, this is their plan folks. They'll take a little time at E3 to spin it, Count on it.

Perhaps Microsoft is trying to push consumers to PC, where they will more than likely use a microsoft product?

Well played Microsoft, well played.

You know there's a lot of people who've been saying that its time he was removed and I agree. Microsoft needs a man who knows about technology in charge not some over excentric business man. Isn't that how the company got to where it is with Bill Gates? He doesn't want to return though. Since he won't do it, then maybe they should get someone else, there's a lot of capable people that could be doing a better job than Ballmer.

The console EA always wanted. (Is that ban worthy?) DRM, needs and internet connection to WORK, used games blocked, unless you want to pay full price because "bits of data". Can't loan games to my friends because they will be prompted to buy the game.

Is it any wonder EA dropped the online passes! "Customer feedback". My b####x. The disdain I have for EA ....

I'd be interested in knowing what, or what kind of game exclusives would knock peoples socks off so much they'd overlook the other negatives.

Well, 15 exclusives first year, 8 new IPs, which means 7 from existing franchises.

Those existing franchises would have to be something they already love that shows something impressive, and as for the new ones, a surprise exciting entry like Watch Dogs was.

I don't know that I'm accurately smelling what you're steeping in but exclusives are not good for gamers.

Neither of us said exclusives are good or bad. We were talking about what kind of exclusives would get people to forgive or forget whatever makes them not like a console.

About that Halo TV series- does anyone actually know anything about it besides that its a Halo TV series?

Acclaimed director Steven Spielberg is the executive producer. He was going to make it into a film, but slated the project. It is being developed with the help of 343 Industries, and it is not only for the Xbox One.

With answers that would be all over the place, if anyone's looking for specifics.

Says anyone with a brain. If the exclusive is for your console, what do gain from owners of other consoles not be able to play said game? Absolutely nothing.

Now, switch the situation.

It benefits nobody but the company who has the exclusive. And even that is debatable.

Well, exclusives breed competition, and competition should(in theory) breed excellence.

But like I said earlier, I wish everyone could play everything, just so there'd be less raging and more positivity. But thats if everyone being able to play the same games would cause that, which is no guarantee by the longest of shots.

Even if they show some amazing games at E3, I'm still going to remember that I can only play them on Sim City: The Console.

Ah, cutting out half a post to fit your response. Gotta love it.

Go ahead Reezy, explain how games being exclusive could ever benefit gamers. Let's hear it chief.
