Specs don't actually mean much. It all depends on which console has the games people enjoy. If you need proof that specs don't matter look at the last two console generations. Both generations the weaker console (The Wii and the PS2) obliterated the competition.

OF COURSE THE SPECS MATTER.If specs didn't matter i'd never upgrade my PC.100 $ more for a weaker console is a ripoff

games?I only care about exclusives when it comes to consoles,i buy most games on PC.I'm sure sony will take full advantage of the superior hardware when it comes to exclusives

And I'm sure MS will take full advantage of its console as well with their exclusives. Although I have a question. If you are a PC gamer and already decided to get a PS4 why are you posting in a thread about the X1? Wouldn't your time be better spent in a PS4 thread?

Superior hardware doesn't matter if the superiority of said hardware does actually end up giving the end user any enhanced experience, or adds to experiences in way the end-user doesn't want.

Arguably, having a Kinect is superior to not having one - as MORE functionality is better than less, on paper. But not wanting motion sensing and voice capturing, this feature becomes a negative to many.

Faster processing and greater memory only matter if the coding of the game takes advantage of said processing and memory. What matters if a car can go 200 mph if all the roads only allow 70 mph driving? How is it great that your smartphone can allow intergration with smar****ches when so few watches exist and most people don't want them?

In conclusion - superior tech can matter. When it does. And other times it doesn't. When people don't care about or cannot use what the greater tech could potentially offer.

To say less is more, as a rule, is only good in writing.

M$  owns Halo,Forza,Gears and ...Fable.The rest of the xbox one exclusives shown in E3 are not owned by M$

Microsoft Studios contains 29 studios worldwide, 23 for game development (343 Industries, Rare, Lionhead, Turn 10, Twisted Pixel, and Black Tusk which comprises multiple teams working on multiple titles concurrently) and 6 for entertainment technology advancement and publishing. In pure studio count, Microsoft is the largest internal development group for a console manufacturer

quality>quantity.Most of the M$ studios produce games for the kinect...

because M$ paid for the exclusivity,they're exclusives yes.but Titanfall for example,is exclusive for 1 year

I know I'm interested in how Kinect will be used in core games, now that it will come with every Xbox. I like how the current Kinect has been used in games like Skyrim and Mass Effect 3, and I am looking forward to seeing how that kind of use for it will be expanded on (and hopefully used more) in future games in the next generation.

This is what I don't get about people-

If you've made your choice of one console over the other, or one platform over the other in general, why not spend your time talking about how good yours is/will be in a place just for that instead of spending time looking for an argument in the place where people who disagree with you will be?

Thats just negativity waiting to happen.

Indeed. I don't go over to PS3/PS4 topics/forums to talk about how uninterested I am in the PlayStation and how Sony doesn't have a single console exclusive that has caught my interest.
