Its not that bad Liam. What you're seeing here is over the top hate. Waaay over the top unreasonable hate.

Both PS4 and Xbox One are kicking ass at the moment for a reason.

A lot of that console hate seems to be floating around atm. It's really stupid to be honest.

Its just carrying over from back when they were doing some pretty stupid stuff with the Xbox One.

But that was over quite some time ago.

As it is today, there isn't a whole lot of difference between the two consoles. Certainly nothing worth the effort of hating on.

How does pointing out they have a some faulty software issues amount to unreasonable hate anyways?

Using terms like "Xbone" and "Ecks bawks" are enough to not be taken seriously by anyone who isn't a fanboy of some sort. No one's using those terms affectionately.

But then we have people saying its a "failure" or "the biggest disaster in gaming history" and then I can understand where bo's coming from in that its funny to laugh at the idea that people feel the need to puff up their chests like a console's something to brag about.

The reactions people have ARE totally unreasonable. A reasonable reaction would be something along the lines of, "I don't like that there aren't any games that appeal to me on Wii U, I hope Nintendo releases some big hits soon", "I wish my PS4 would have something else to do than just gaming, without a stronger launch lineup I wish I didn't have to wait so long for me to sink time into", "The Xbox One's menu is confusing at the moment, I wish it was simpler to navigate and certain things were easier to reach, I hope Microsoft redesigns that soon", etc etc

Not

"lololol Xbox is the suxxorz PC PS4 !!!!101010101"

Let me get this straight, using the term "Xbone" which is being used even by people who owns an Xbox One shouldn't be taken seriously because of fanboyism?

I agree that people saying things like "failure" or "the biggest disaster in gaming history" are most likely trolls

Basically, the fanboys of all sides need to grow up and stop squabbling over who's toy is better than the rest. And the sad thing is, most fanboys don't even realize they're fanboys because they are that close-minded.

Valid criticism's one thing, but baseless hate's another. And most would disguise the latter by pretending its the former, or using the former as an excuse for them to spread the latter.

Needs online for the initial patch, si. Afterwards, offline's all good.

I haven't gone offline though. I like being online all the time. I can't speak for how the offline experience is, I just know its possible.

Surprise, I use Comcast as well. Hah

Though I don't have issues with the internet. Rarely if ever do I get connection issues and am forced offline. Never since I've owned the Xbox One.

Yeah, it won't be a problem with the console. I think it may vary from city to city, but my internet just goes down for hours at a time sometimes. Usually under understandable conditions, such as strong wind or thunderstorms.

Aye, its the occasional thunderstorm that does my connection in.

Otherwise, its (hah, playing AC4 at the moment) "smooth sailing".

Ohohoho, tremendously so.

I can get tracked in the dark so I'm not forced to turn the light on if I was playing my usual on-disc games.

Much wider field of view.

It'll recognize my face and thats how it signs me in.

As long as I'm using the correct voice commands, its understood me about 95% of the time so far(gotta account for mistakes due to accents and outside noise).

Its snappy and responsive. I find myself using it consistently to get back to the home screen or to check my achievements(Xbox, Go Home and Xbox, Go to My Achievements respectively).

Its quite good, actually. I can't wait to see what developers are gonna do with it in the future. That doesn't mean it can't be improved of course, but the potential is there for awesome sauce.

A fully functional voice command? Not bad.

Though I won't lie. Having the ability to make a full body scan and the ability to track your heartbeat makes it sound like a creepy sci-fi gadget.

Just be glad. The day we unite is the day we overthrow the "Master Race" and assert complete dominance of the lands.

The main reason I use the kinect with mah 360 is because the keyboard when using the search function has an idiotic layout.

@LPPrince

If you think the fanboy wars are bad Machinima.com is deliberately fuelling it.

The only real reason why they are making up these video's such as this, is to start fanboy wars.

Fanboy wars are fun to watch from the sidelines, especially when you start adding fuel to the fire.

Next thing that happens is they add an option to detect sexual arousal. Awkward!
