That would be horrendous. Windows 8 already kind of does that (yes, I have it) where you can push an "app" off to the side and open your browser in desktop mode, but if you click away from the app while an ad is running, the ad will pause. That's about the most annoying BS kind of ad I've encountered in all my time on the internet. (well, no, the ones with viruses are worse)bobobo878 wrote...

You can only play games bought in the country where your console's from. It's like with the DVD player. If you buy DVDs in the US, you can only play them in a Region 1 DVD player (or multi region player).

That's how I view it anyway. I don't know if games have a similar categorization for regions.
EDIT: Stupid of me, of course they do! It's that NTSC, PAL, etc. classification.

I've been listening to this podcast and they bring up a good argument, who is more likely to buy the console during it's first year release (which usually predicts how well a console will do in a future), the core gamers, or the casual audience who would only buy this system for those "minor features" that they'll most likely have on other devices and will most likely be cheaper, unless the X1 is 99 dollars.
