Would be HILARIOUS if MS pulled an Xbox360 E3 2005 and revealed ME4 (featuring Shepard) ad an Xbox One exclusive
I would die laughing

Featuring Shepard? Shepard's not in ME4. Though I guess as a recognizable face it would suffice for the first reveal.

Though after ME3's ending I think its pretty safe to say I'm done with Mass Effect, so it wouldn't draw me to ANY platform.

nope...ME was published by MS, hence why it took that long to get it on PS3. Not the point tho, I was just joking (not that it would be utterly impossible)Fast Jimmy wrote...

I could be wrong, but I thought EA bought Bioware in between ME1 and DA:O? There's no EA logo on my ME1 box.Fast Jimmy wrote...

Ah, you are correct, sir, you are correct.
I could see console exclusives happening, but I don't think a ME game would be one that would work. I doubt you'd get even have of the fans of the series to buy a next gen console for a new ME game where they have to sweep that train wreck of an ending under the rug somehow. Heck, some people are still so angry about it, they may BOYCOTT buying a X1 simply because it had a ME console exclusive.

For all those against DRM on next-gen consoles, what's the alternative? Just play game of the disc like the current gen? As far as I know, not installing a game on the X1's hard drive just comes with the usual minor problems: runs louder, more disc wear and tear, etc. But maybe there are other reasons X1 requires installation of games.
Well, consoles were the gaming platforms that allowed for the most amount of freedom. If you wanted to let your friend borrow a game, then he could borrow a game. If you didn't want that game any more, then you could sell it to him for 5 bucks. From what I've been hearing, installation is mandatory. It would make sense, seeing as every game is tied to just one account.
