So how does Microsoft plan on killing Sony at E3? Microsoft is limping its way into E3 after shooting itself in the foot w/ its disastrous reveal. Do they have any good exclusives or will it be just a bunch of random exclusives?

Yeah, why did they do that. Behavior like that makes me think that Microsoft are not expecting thier E3 showcase to go very well.

Really? What are they playing at? Does Microsoft think that the less people know about the BetamaXbox, the greater the chance that people will purchase it? I think we know enough about the BetamaXbox to know that it's just a spycam and a really expensive remote control for people who want to watch TV.

This. I look at game vids after E3 and thats it. I never watch the event because it's one giant circle jerk between publishers, Sony and MS.

If I were to get a PS4, I would too.  Stupid "let someone online play my game for me."  That's called watching a show, people.  If you don't actually want to make decisions or fight the creatures, if you just want to watch Let's Plays all the time...
get a better return on your investment and watch some movies or buy a TV series boxed set.

All things considered this feature is probably the least of my concerns for next-gen. You know, since it's optional.

Yesterday, I was talking to the manager at my local Gamestop (who is a really great guy that I've known for the past 5 years), and he said they are watching and waiting to hear the final details regarding the X1. But he said that if it prevents used games etc., his company plans to not support it and throw all their support behind Sony's PS4.

I was actually a little surprised to hear that, but I think it's an entirely sensible stance to take to try to protect their business. Of course, if Sony does the same thing, I think Gamestop and many other businesses are utterly screwed.

True. And beyond that, gamers that are there are in the core crowd, knowing what is multiplatform and such.

Sony fans will be flooding E3, too. Sony said that there are 40 openings for fans to get into their conference, on a first come first serve basis.

Sony claims to have 40 games to show at E3. If only a fraction of them are actually decent then that still means the show will be great.
