Huh?
I get it, I get it - it's a stupid slogan!
No, seriously, "All in one. Input one." is great. It shows that they have given up the next-gen war already, and decided to just have a blast with the marketing budget. Something like "Whoever put the most insane Xbone slogan on the biggest banner ad until release gets a PS4 with all the launch titles.". ^^

I am not a number, I AM A FREE MAN!
But seriously, you're the unit, input yourself into their tub of commercialism. Do it. You want to do it. Give us control. We will show you the way. You are our sheep and we are your Shepard. Give us your money, give us your mind, give us control.
Anyways anyways, good article about cloud computing thats not specifically about X1 but very much related: http://www.guardian....ichard.stallman If that's what you want then X1 is just for you.

Truth be told I would probably be interested in the Xbox One if it could work without 'Kinect'. I really have no interest in that in the 'Kinect', as a matter of fact I don't want anything to do with it all, the fact that the Xbox One cant work without it and the fact that it can't turned off at all means that the PS4 is the only next gen option worth considering.
The whole entire used game debate has very little impact on me. I don't buy used games although I have been known to trade in games that I have lost interest in, besides Sony have been very vague on thier 'new' used game policy, chances are it will be very similar to Micosoft's why else would EA scrap thier 'Online Pass' system if everyone wasn't on the same page ( and don't bring up Nintendo, EA isn't exactly supporting them right now ).
It's possible that Nintendo's recent brawl with EA has a lot to do with Nintendo's unwillingness to implement DRM policies.
Nintendo also rejected Origin, so something else to throw in the pot.

Origin is a digital distribution platform for PC. Why would Nintendo be involved at all?

1. Confirmed Microsoft is actively attempting to get developers to not mention PS4 versions. If they don't say "OUR GAME IS EXCLUSIVE FOR XBONE" expect a PS4 version. #truthfact
2. More DRM messaging at Gamescom. There is no rental strategy. Try to sweep it under the rug and hope people don't remember.
3. Cloud power was designed as DRM. Period. DRM was Microsoft's idea. EA and Ubisoft are supporters, Activision slightly less so.
4. DRM plans are actually worse than what they've stated.
5. Mirror's Edge 2 at MS conference.
6. Prince of Persia (reboot?) at MS conference.
7. Secret Phil Spencer game = World of Tanks
8. Live paywall still there.
9. Dead Rising 3, and exclusive DLC for another Capcom game at MS conference.
10. No online paywall for PS4. Unconfirmed.
11. No DRM info for PS4.
How nice.

In all seriousness, I'm sincerely mildly horrified Microsoft people have actually deemed it necessary to give statements like " Don't worry, it won't record your speech and send it anywhere:) Relax:)"
Entered thread to point and laugh at ridiculous mind abortion of a DRM ravaged gaming console, stayed to witness the rise of Anti-Christ.
"Good morning LTD. Please stop chewing your nails. "

Thanks for that link. Here's another guy's translation further down the thread:
- MS are buying non-mentions of third party multiplatform titles on the PS4
- MS DRM policy won't come until GamesCom, no rental policy planned, what was said last week was off the cuff and not planned
- Power of 'the cloud' is all bull****, it's purely to hide the DRM of
the console, EA/Ubisoft biggest backers, but surprisingly not Activision
- DRM policy is worse than they're letting on
- Mirror's Edge 2 at MS conference
- Prince of Persia at MS conference
- Phil Spencer game
- Online Paywall like XBL
- Dead Rising 3/ Exlusive DLC for a second Capcom game
- No paywall for Sony's online
- No info on Sony's DRM, very tight lipped
Man, if true, this stuff is absolutely despicable.

And before someone comes and calls "untrusty source!" out, that guy is quite reliable. If he says so, it's probably right. Was never wrong before as far as I know.
