I've watched people play the kit on Platinum and hardly go down..... on Geth Condor! A lot of well implemented dodging was taking place. It was Stik and I think Arctican, cool to watch

Not all Valkerie will carry a Reegar. Teleport in/out and around the bosses allow the Fury to re-prime the AF for multiple BEs.

not all fury are played well enough to do that.

TBH, I'm still not sure how I stayed alive that game. You should ask Stik about the time I was a melee Fury on Geth London.

that match was beautiful. Was weaving in and out between two primes. They didn't know what to hit!

Actually, the Asari dodge does this better and faster than Fury teleport.Original Twigman wrote...

I'd love to make a quote wall, but iPhone doesn't allow that. In short:
Deerber, no need to be an elitis deuchbag simply because you have some of your own opinions that I don't agree with. Don't be a dismissive ass simply because I think there are better ways than cheating to play the Valk.
Ser Biggs gets it.
Stryfd is right on. At least, the first few sentences cover this.'topic and poll are about close quarters combat, not who is a better kit. L2 read, L2 logic, etc. you're mostly being opinionated Internet anons instead of intelligent people.

Not which is the best kit. Also, the Valkyrie is not a one-trick cheese pony. Haven't you kids ever moved outside the box to play the kit for what it is? It's a blast. I have actually tried kits more ways than what one video on BSN showed me. Again, so many BSNers who post frequently seem to lack all imagination, and see any deviation from their bizarre norms as foolishness.

Suddenly realizes these people are just the same! They just haven't run the full circle yet and lost their little imaginary status. Suddenly understands BSN!
seriously kids, why do you think self-assured casual players get on BSN to troll and provoke you? Because they find your fervor and self-proclaimed genius to be funny. Get out of my thread or learn to relax and that your whole life doesn't hinge on proving yourself daily to BSN. If I am talking to you, you know it. /rant
I'm not taking to testers, posters of fun threads, even organizers, and so many who make this community fun. Love you guys.

Plays Krysae infiltrator or other gimmicky fun build. Tops good BSN players. "This is good, let's share it!" Gets made fun of for being stupid by a few self-proclaimed elite players. Is confused by close-minded persons who think their close-mindedness gives them superiority. Realizes they are childish and have no other way to feel good about themselves, finding their identity in a video game. Remembers Hoxatron and Link, who were crushed when their imaginary empires of popularity evaporated.

Plus, you said "who is the queen of close quarters biotic combat" after referring to people saying the valk would be a ****ty Fury, implying that they were both close quarter, and which one was flat out better. The fact that they both have to be in annihilation field range to do their best damage, means they are both close quarter.
Also Blip, nobody has talked about "cheating"/cheese/Incendiary ammo since page 3, apart from you. You can still use the superior Reegar with warp ammo are tear everything apart.
Edit: Blip, why did you essentially just green text your emotions outside of the site that does green text?...

They're slightly different kits. The Fury is best played somewhat like a Drell. The Valkyrie is best played like a Krogan Sentinel or N7 Paladin.

No, seriously, they don't compare well...
Anyway, poll is too close to close, but BSN's unwashed masses disagree with the elitist crew, stating that Valkyrie>Fury for CQC. As expected, given a fair reading of the question dictates that answer.
My opinion:
Fury>Valkyrie for overall fun and versatility, Valkyrie>Fury for CQC and not needing to host.
Shame on you BSN self-proclaimed elite for not taking the off-topic troll bait. You disappoint. This could have been an even better thread than it is.

Valkyrie isn't built for hit and run the way a Fury is. (Drell)
But the Fury can't take abuse the way a Valkyrie can. (Krogan Sentinel & Paladin can both survive in close quarters, Krogan with durability plus tech armor, Paladin because of Snap Freeze and Shield Slaps.)
The rank 5 debuff option on Annihilation Field means more for the Valkyrie than it does for a Fury, because the Valkyrie doesn't have to keep sprinting after throwing.
