It would be nice if the romance between Zev and Warden was mentioned somehow in DA:I. My Warden wouldn't mind if he slept with Isabela, but it's still a little immersion-breaking moment, when he forgets about his relationship with Warden.

From the title, I thought you were asking to be able to romance him! I'm relieved that's not the case.
Hmm. While I do find it unfortunate that Zev's DA2 cameo was riddled with import flag bugs, I suppose I'd rather not see him cameo, since I'd prefer if he's off with my Wardens, living what little happily ever after they have.
Except for my US Warden playthrough, in which case I suppose he's welcome to show up. And hopefully I can buy him a drink and apologize for destroying his heart.

You said that your warden was alive, so when Zevran refuse Isabela, did he speak like the warden was really alive or dead?
Did you import a DA:O save or a DA:A save? And was your save from DA:O and DA 2 recent? Was the last patch installed?
Sorry for all the question, but as I had this bug with a DA:A save, but with no patch for the games, I am wondering if I can resolve this bug if I do a new warden...As you seem the only person to not have this bug when I search for it...

The Zevran thing on mine works. Playing on Xbox 360 and importing DAO - not DAA (since it was bugged in DAA - I didn't get his letter). He didn't offer Hawke and didn't accept Isabella. So damn it, I would love him to be at least mentioned in DAI since the warden will be there. I personally hate DA2 for a lot of reasons, starting from the human only choice to forced cameos 
also pretty lame companions compared to DAO and DAA...

So imagine my surprise when I checked the forum and a post I made 9 months ago on an old account was there! I was reading through some of the posts and I'm confused as to how some people thought I wanted Zev to be a romance in DA:I.
What I wanted to know was whether or not it would be referenced because he didn't acknowledge warden in DA2. Well, with The Keep's announcement I got my answer.
