the knocked down troopers are easy to HS, especially the Collectors, the shielded ones don't fall on the ground.

I prefer to knock down Abominations and Husks.

enemies have shields.. if you are targetting a humanoid enemy without shields, don't overload. See? it's simple.

A GE without a GPR? Scrubs.


QFT.  Granted I play my GE as a primer/detonator but the GPR with Incendiary ammo on him does work even on Gold.

The GPR is a solid pick as well, sure, but I looked for a way to use the Valkyrie, since it's an UR and I want to know it was worth the wait ;-)

I used it earlier and it wasn't terrible. Had Reapers both games which may have hindered my POV of it, but it didn't seem too special either.

This is what I have been running on him lately and it is an absolute monster for headshots.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I use Phasic Ammo III for the ammo type since I can 1 shot any mook that has barriers/shields left after Overloading them.

Because, dumdum...Overload does...Yeah, I don't know. 


That's why I take recharge instead of neural shock. And especially on Xbox with the stupid auto-aim I find that is the best way to go, because usually the auto-aim targets the enemy at the center of their body as if they were standing up, that means that when an enemy starts lying on the ground you still zoom in way above them when you want to kill them. It's much easier if they are just standing still in the open <_<

Eh, used it last night. IDK the damn weapon still has a lot of kick even with stability. I'd rather use several other options with this build.

Neural shock is great to take with its extra 100% bonus against shields and barriers for organics. I never take recharge speed and headshots are never a problem.

Keep on with your neural shock, it helps much more than it hinders.

I 100% agree.  Its very easy to predict the animations and easily nail the headshots.

I tried this out except I used the Sabre last night, for some I thought it was the sabre being used instead of the Valkyrie. I just utterly suck with the Sabre.

Tried this setup and I love it. Even got the 20 headshot medal on wave 2, which never happens.

I tried it the other day with semi-headshot setting (AR amp instead of Headshot VI, No headshot passive evo) and it was not bad.
I still hated how often I have to pull the trigger though... so going back to Piranha...
It was against Collector and the damage was more than adequate.

The Geth Engineer is one of the most effective and underated classes in the game. He can carry any weapon.
