Personality

Do any of you assign your multiplayer characters personalities? I like to view my Krogan shaman as a cool old guy who's seen it all and probably fought most of it, and my demolisher as a freewheeler who ADORES anything that makes a good boom. My geth engineer has trouble figuring out those troubling things organics call emotions and my fury is more than willing to shoot/warp/annihilate/punch anything that annoys her...

Who picked up a discarded raptor after they were traumatized at the showing of fleets and flotilla that was interrupted by a geth planted, cerberus bomb.
It was much more intricate a few months ago, but remember: Psycho valleygirl quarian, mowing down reaper forces with a raptor, Simple, right?

It's all terrible writing, but it's there.

Yes, that is what makes it an RPG. Otherwise, it would just be another Wolfenstein3D clone, like Battlefield or CoD.
Pretty sure it'd be an Operation: Winback clone since it's a third person cover based shooter, not a first person shooter =P

I don't have an accent - not even a regional one!

Third person shooters are just first person shooters that don't make people feel car sick. (And, yes, that is why third person shooters were developed.) Given that the one I referenced came out in 1992 and the one you referenced came out in 1999, um ... I'll let you figure out the origin.
(EDIT to correct the release date of Winback)
