Ok so I've been replaying ME1 since I found out lots of decisions were gonna carry over to ME2, now we already know that the minerals and gasses we collect carry over, but what about the prothian discs, or the asari writings? Or the rest of those collection missions. Really I don't see a point in carrying them over and really hope they don't but what's everyone else think??

Doing all the collection missions grants you more money... More money = the Rich achievement, which has been confirmed to carry over. Also, am I the only one who maxed out their money limit on the first play through?

They haven't confirmed on whether they carry over or not. They said some collection things carry over. Seeing how getting those collections gets you nothing in ME, I'm guessing you'd get SOMETHING from them in ME2. But for the most part, it's just speculation.

Doing the mineral collection missions conveys a resource boost on import. That was confirmed.

The collections that transfer over are the mineral collection. Really theres no reason for the others to transfer over as far as I can tell.

Because they can. that's why they'd transfer. And like I said, you got nothing for completing those collections, so you'd probably get something this time around.

Man this sucks, I want to have a save with everything but I don't have enough time to do all the collections and assignments...

Do as much as you can then, and you'll have to be satisfied with that. I don't think I am going to manage more then another couple full runs before the game comes out.

I'm done with that crap. I got one perfect playthrough with no LI. I saved it at a spot so I can go back and have Liara, and then Ash as LI and then do Ilos.
