With all this talk about the upcoming 10 year anniversary, why not convert this game to an Android app? Rockstar Games already did it with GTA 3 and Vice City, and I'm sure this game would play a lot better since the combat system would work perfectly on a touchscreen.

Maybe if Disney hadn't bought it all.  But the anniversary will mean rather little to Disney if they can't tie it to vacation activity or big screen entertainment.  We'll just have to see how successful they are with Star Wars movies.

Doesn't BioWare got the rights to this game, and EA to Star Wars games? Shouldn't be a problem then..

Atari had the game rights through Hasbro, and Bioware developed it for Atari (KotOR-1). But LucasArts was the one pulling the strings.  Bioware chose not to continue the arrangements and Obsidian was working on KotOR2, but they over-reached themselves, and ended up only delivering 3/4 part of the planned sequel.

Now that DICE has the door open, and EA in general seems to in the position that Atari and / or Hasbro was in, the potential looks more promising.
