Granted, the headline is a little misleading, but whatever. So long as I captivate the audience long enough to say what needs to be said here.
You won't be playing Varric persay. This one's a few feet taller, and a whole lot prettier ( come at me! ). In this feature he casts the full on tormented, pretty boy emo façade (varric/fenris hybrid ftw) , with a gansta twist, and has a beautiful mane of free flowing hair . He's also got a couple of arms ( ladies, the possibilities, I know right! j/k don't know, into chicks but STILL ) which spur the type of blood lust and blood letting that could not only inspire jealousies from Quentin Tarantino, but also give him nightmares.
I'm referring ofcourse to The Darkness 2. The plot narration , formatted similarly to DA2, ( and in other features across all mediums, I KNOW, no turds in this punch bowl please *anticipates random criticism* ) and protag voice work are all the offerings of Brian Bloom, Varric's very own.
Now I'm not going to offer you guys a game review here.In all likelihood it would just be ignored and I suspect some peoples prejudice towards shooters will have them saying hell no before I even have a chance to offer an opinion And although the above might not be reason enough for some to outright purchase or even play the game, I will say that I surprisingly enjoy it and that I'm having fun playing an alternate universe Varric.
You guys even get to experience my first meme. I'm not really in the creative zone, so sorry. This is to the nay sayers of the shooter....
