Mages levitate in Dragon Age, just not your mages. (see: the Architect)
It would be nice if we could float around on a throne of skulls, yes.
Ah yeah, he did.
Damn Tevinter magisters. They're keeping the good stuff for themselves.
Oh, I thought he was the same as Corypheus. Like they were both just original magisters condemned as darkspawn. You're right though, the Architect says he just woke up that way. Doesn't have a memory as a magister like Cory does.

With everyone asking for Force Mage attacks to be more powerful, I can't help but feel that the point has been missed...I would like the attacks to be more powerful.
The Force specialization isn't about immense damage or insane burst. It's about controlling a battlefield, something that can be done extremely well with the correct use of Force Magic. It's about combining the skills of the entire class to create a feat of incredible AoE damage, using a combination of combat trees to completely destroy entire armies of mobs with near tactical precision.
Having control of a battlefield can be vital in building up proper damage combos and shutting down potentially fatal threats. There isn't a single specialization that has half as much combat control as Force Magic...
I love the spec and I hope it stays.

I hope Force mage is in DA:I as well. Combine force and blood magic and you have a monster on the battle field (If built properly). Can't beat that crowd control. Use up your mana pool with the sustainable powers then hit the blood magic toggle and you have the toughest SOB in the game.... as long as you don't spell cast yourself to death.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that loved sending people flying with Telekinetic Burst or comically dragging them to the floor with Fist Of The Maker.
More please.

The only comic thing is watching all those thin-air waves just pile up like a sack of watch officers from Dunwall via Pull of the Abyss

I enjoyed Force Magic. Fit in well with my preferred style of mage. Massive AOEs and battlefield control. Just wish some of the AOE's in DA2 had been a bit more spectacular. Kinda missed having blizzard too.

I liked Force Magic quite a lot in DA2, and I loved Blood Magic as well. I very much hope we will see a return of both specializations. In fact, all 3 of them as I also thought the Spirit Healer was an incredibly useful specialization for those who didn't like or didn't want to use Anders.
IMO, playing as a mage was a must in DA2. All but two of my playthroughs were mages, so I think I had 5 mages total.
