I found Kaiden to be really boring and he never seemed to have any emphasis in his voice; as for Ashley, i don't think she was a zealot or a bigot, i understood the point she was trying to make, but i thought the conversations with her were kinda bleh (also, her romance scene annoyed me because of bad military jokes....)
Any opinions or comments?

Kaiden has an interesting backstory, poor execution. Ashley had some pretty good moments, though.

in all honesty, i think it was bad to put the relgious person and the "out for ourselves" person into one character, gave people to many excuses to come up with all kinds of bad mouthing; but it really was that stupid "Drop and give me 20" line in the Romance scene that made me not want to have anything to do with her

Except they kinda are a single character in a certain sense - in ME, these are traits sort of bound up in a certain sort of philosophy, one which ties back to the early days of human galactic exploration. Her family's history has a big impact on her, and one can only assume religion is a part of that.

Yep, I didn't find either character boring, although I never wanted to romance Ash.

You can charm her into thinking that her thinking of aliens is wrong, though.

I don't know about anyone else, but i'm really hoping Jacob, Miranda, and Subject Zero are more interesting then Kaiden and Ashley were.

I agree, Ashley and Kaiden were duds.

Luckily we have 4 human squad members this time round, there is a lot of room for diversity.

all day-1 dlc is free, so like shale, you probably get him as soon as you use the cerberus card

Truth here. Its an incentive to buy the game new instead of borrowing it from your buddy.

Well i would of course disagree having been exposed to many stories in my short life...they are good...but i would not say the best for me.
Name ten better. Seriously, go ahead. I'll ignore the fact, for now, that this is an inherently subjective question, but I'm curious.
