(this might be spoilers but dident see a general with spoilers allowed so dont read if u dont want to)

so this game is really starting to annoy me.. in the start u skip
ahead 1 year.. why couldent i play that year and decide myself how the
"make a name for yourself" stuff worked, and after the deep roads its a freakking TREE YEAR CAP!
and
in those 4 years u dont play.. how come i dident find some1 to love or
marry during that time? im a uber rich hot women with a mansion in
hightown.. SOMEONE or everyone in the entire freekin game should wanna
be my husband or wife =P and myself would wanna go to the hanged man and
"play" with isabella a few time's during those 3 years
so why is it like this.. year gaps where nothing really happens to my social life

Because everybody hates Hawke. Haven't you noticed how every time Hawke goes out at night, it is raining men who are itching to kill Hawke.

but who in their right mind would wanna live in that mansion alone.. just dosent make sense

Hawke isn't living in the mansion alone. S/he's got his mom, Bodahn, Sandal and the Dog if you got that DLC.

Hawke is also pretty busy in that three years restoring the mansion, but there's no reason to believe Hawke lived like a Chantry priest during that time. It's simply that the only lasting relationship Hawke can form is with one of the party members.
