Hi all!

I am currently going through my second playthrough of the Mass Effect series, and on the first runtrough i played without DLC's (I didn't know they existed :P), and as i want to get an as new experience as possible, i'm going to get a couple of DLC's. I've already installed the free ones, and i am currently unsure of which one to get. I am currently saving up for a tablet, so i am not able to spend money on more than one of them, so what DLC will i get the most out of? I can see that "Lair of the Shadow Broker" has more content but "Kasumi - Stolen memories" has a permanent squadmate. Which one would you recommend me to get? And also, would having Kasumi on my team affect Mass Effect 3 in any way? Or will she just dissapear?

Thank you in advance! :)

Kasumi is nearly useless. the only time i ever had her in my party was during her loyalty mission. if she survives ME2, she shows up on the Citadel for one of those side missions. you get the mission with or without her though

Shadow Broker was ok. hell of a view. basically just helping Liara with her being a temporary squadmate.

if its a choice between those 2, i would go with the Shadow Broker.

Arrival would be best though. helps explain why Shepard is on Earth at the beginning of ME3. Anderson even mentions what happened if you played it. cant remember if its mentioned without it.

Probably too late to provide me recommendation now, but Lair of the Shadow Broker would be better in my opinion, if only that after you complete it, you gain access to a terminal that allows you to reset your squadmate's powers. It is perfect for speccing Thane, Garrus, and Jacob and out of their fairly useless bonus talents.

Plus Lair of the Shadow Broker is downright fun. It also has damage bonus upgrades for each weapon that you can pick up. If you ever romanced Liara, it also contains some extra Liara romance for your Shepard. And it also features some great music and a couple of good boss fights.

Kasumi-Stolen Memory is good, although it is best for a Tech Damage upgrade: that will give you three tech damage damage upgrades and unlock the Tech Cooldown upgrade before Horizon. Fantastic for Tech-based Shepards. It also has the Locust SMG, good for all characters except the Soldier.
As for Kasumi herself, she is a fairly good squadmate. Her bonus power (unlocked for completing her loyalty mission) is Flashbang Grenade which is very useful against Harbinger. He loyalty mission is not all that special in my opinion.

Arrival is good, it also contains some upgrades that may help you. However, it is best played after the Suicide Mission so the upgrades would not help you a whole lot then.

Overload is fun and has some of the best atmosphere in all the DLCs. It also has one of my all-time favorite missions (Prometheus Station), and some great music.

RedC's post is pretty spot on although I'd say Arrival is a subpar compared to the others. LoSB, Overload and Stolen Memory are definitely worth getting.

I have to add in here and say that Kasumi:SM, and LotSb are brilliant DLCs. Arrival is bit of a controversy with you being forced to play solo almost all the time. That can be a real b**** for classes like the Adept that simply lack a good portion of lethalty, making the DLC a chore to play through.

Overlord is a nice set of UNC missions, nothing special but imho worth the price. Has good atmosphere and some nice homanges (the elevator is simply classic!).
