Is the Juggernaut any good? He looks amazing but I could be very biased.

If you know how to use him, he can be a powerhouse tank, still with respectable damage output, and an invaluable asset to the team.

If you don't know how to use him, a lot of people are gonna be on your case about it, and you most likely will perform poorly.

People say it's a crutch, but you have to know how to work it.

Thanks again for the advice :) I'd say I would need to play some silvers to practice before trying gold with him. First of all I need to get him though!

Haha, that's true. He's pretty self explanatory though honestly. Plus, there are tons of builds and stuff on here you can look for, and i play with him pretty much all the time. I'm not great at Me3, and i haven't been here long, but if you want to PM me and bounce some ideas off me, i'll totally be willing to help. Once you get him, of course.

Unfortunately it only gets harder to unlock characters once you have most of thw others because of the idiotic character cards concept. That said the probability is slightly higher than 0.7% because I counted URs in the pool but they only have a slight chance of showing up in packs (dont know precise %age).

Keep buying SPs and move on to gold to be able to buy one SP per match.

Use power kits if you dont have good enough weapons.

If i were you, i wouldn't count on the juggernaut though. That's exactly what i did, then i got it, and never stopped playing it. Now, i have a lot of trouble playing other kits. I can play the jugg great, and i do ok with krogans, but basically, if it aint tanky, i dont do too good with it.

Just make sure you don't lose your ability to play, like i did. It's hard to undo.

Thanks for the tip! My favourite characters to play are the Drell Adept and Volus Engineer so I am definitely used to squishy characters (I looooove my squishy reaver!) and I will take it in turns playing the Juggernaut and then playing a squishy character.

I appove of the newcomer.

Yay approval! Seriously the Volus Engineer is amazing. Recon mine is incredible and his ability to shield boost and turn invisible is the icing on the cake. A Volus takes a while to master, but when mastered he is devestating on the battlefield.

What about buying reserves since you are more likely to get characters or is that a waste of credits?

How long did it take you guys to get the Geth Juggernaut?

I got it on the release day. But I spent 5 million credits that day and everything except ultra-rare weapons and the Reckoning maxed out.

Because this is getting incredibly frustrating. Also has anyone had the experience where you get everything you DON'T want?

Yes, that is how the shop works.

RPs dont always give 2 characters and I'm unsure of the odds there. Even so, there is a very high chance that it could be a waste because you have unlocked most characters.

With SPs you can build other parts of your manifest and unlock weapons that could let you use your existing kits better.

Its a patience game after all.

I guess that's true. I average two rares a Spectre pack since I have all my uncommon weapons maxed out. I guess what I will do is alternate. Mostly buy Spectres but every so often buy a Reserve. Ergh, stupid store. Just give me the Juggernaut, Batarian Soldier, Drell Assassin and Cerberus Harrier and I will be a happy player.

Once you get him, prepare to press W with all muscles in you body. He is so damn slow. Plus the fact that you can't take cover reassures that you gonna be on the move. Sluggish, but on the move.
Honestly, of the character you are yet to unlock there some real gems you should focus on, such as the Valkyrie and the Huntress :)

I'd gladly give up the Batsol and Harrier for the Warlord and Paladin and Demolisher.

I'm on Xbox so I won't be pressing any 'W' :P I hardly have any Asari and they don't look that great to me, but I could be wrong. I guess I've never paid any attention to them.

The Warlord is okay, he's not great. When I got him I was like "KROGAN SMASH!" but then the instakilling starts and that is not fun. When you get him, use him for Geth and spec electric hammer.

Yeah its a shame one cant use the melee Krogans freely against anything but Geth.

Omg 0.7%?!?! What's really really frustrating is that I got all my Ultra rare characters from Spectre Packs but get crappy as characters from reserves packs (Volus Vanguard *shudders*). Also when I bought reserves packs I kept getting ultra rare weapons! I swear I would spent 6 million credits just to get the Juggernaut for certain.

D:

I don't play him either, but i've been outscored by them a few times and recognize their potential.

I don't deny any character can be played well and a Volus can be an amazing asset (Volus Engineer ) but I just cannot play the Vanguard. Same with that god awful Havoc, which I got instead of a character I want and I can play (like the Batarian Soldier. I played him at a friends house. First time I had touched multiplayer, got to wave 3 by myself on bronze).

It has stimpacks, turian passives and an awesome dodge, what else do you want? Slap on the biggest gun you have and enjoy.

Stim packs are okay but Havoc Strike and Cryo Blast are just awful in my opinion. The Batarian Soldier for example has Ballistic Blades, Inferno Grenades and Blade Armour which to me are great powers.

Luck has definitelty turned around. While its not the juggernaut I now have the drell assassin; whom I wanted. Now I just have to be patient and wait for the juggernaut.

I want my PPR, CSMG, Valiant. In the meantime my Spitfire is level 6.

I got my Juggy very early and I had my UR kits maxed out while not owning even half of the rare kits.

It took me 5 months to get the Harrier. Now it's only at II whereas the spitfire is at IV. So yes, I've gotten things I don't want.

I had an awesome run leading up to the juggernaut. When the last expansion came out, I needed something like 110 character cards (roughly) to max out rare/ultra rare characters. That includes all the repeats of unlocked characters, obviously. I unlocked 103 non-juggernaut characters in a row to leave myself with 4 juggernaut cards out of only 7 remaining. I then unlocked one juggernaut card, but immediately afterwards finished the remaining characters, leaving 3 juggernauts as the only character cards remaining. I didn't mind really, as I was hoping to max them anyway, but it seemed quite unusual at the time. I was secretly hoping to get it down to 4 for 4, but 3 for 3 was pretty close, and 4 for 7 was definitely getting entertaining.
