Well. I've never heard it put like that. In my opinion, killing people isn't natural unless you're a barbarian. Some just don't have the willpower to maintain control. Savage. Naked flesh can't be the work of the devil, there isn't anything more natural that being nude. Otherwise, we would be hatched instead of born. However, It's all about how society reacts to what's going on. If violence is forbidden and nudity isn't than nudity wouldn't be a big deal to the general populace and vice-versa. That's just my opinion.

True, That would satisfy but they would have to change so much of the game that the creators would actually loose money and it would take away from the whole game. Besides, that's the entire purpose of the ESRB rating. It's the parents faults if their kid sees something on a game that's meant for adults like the warning shows. I don't know about you but i've had talks with parents while playing on xbox live about my language while their 8 year old kid was playing a mature game. They always put their foot in their mouth when I point that out and how bad of a parent they are, allowing their kid(s) to be subjected to it.

Actually that's what they do with action games most of the time anyway, but for another reason. Back when Half-life came out, the soldiers were replaced by robots in the german version, because it was still a problem getting a low rating for a game in which you actually shoot at other people. Many of the "death scenes" were cut from Fallout in the german version, enemies were just falling down and weren't torn into pieces from machine guns. In Fallout 2, all kids were removed from the german version because it was forbidden to sell a game that let's you kill minors. It actually made a good armor  early in the game unavailable, because you had to bring a lost kid home to his father to get it and the kid was just not there.

Germany has no problem with showing nudity though. Nudity is ok. Violence in any manner is not. At least, that's how it was in Germany a few years ago. They're headed in the right direction of a more violent free atmosphere. I'm not sure if that works for them, to lower the violence anyway.

Okey lets get to the point... Dragon Age is a great game by all means and... I consider it tries to deliver a realistic view on things (not on magic and races, but relations between people, politics and such). What I found most "unrealistic" in this way in the game were love/sex scenes... i tell you they are awful.

I had in-game romance with Morrigan + Leliana... well both are not completely naked in love/sex cutscenes, but that wont be that much of a problem, real problem is my character is always in heavy armor while kissing, having sex etc. So that looks somewhat funny when the woman looks into a closed helmet the guy having greataxe at his back and so on.

Next thing is in the story... i freed werevolves in one quest and they changed into human form and you know what... THEY WERE DRESSED ! Although before they had nothing on them, only their wolf fur. Such a nonsense...

I dont know why censorship has to be so hard... there can be a option for example in "Gameplay" option tab or something like... realistic/censored love scenes. That thing with werevolves was really disappointing I tell you.

take it from there is no problem to kiss in full plate. it is even possible with the armet and wraper on, provided that the visor is up  obviously.

Well, its the same monster who doesnt care seeing her children playing a game plenty of violence, gore, betrayal, and references to violation, cannibalism, torture... I think this monster called mother.. shouldn't trouble too much for some nudity.

Speaking from an american point of view here I happen to agree.  ALOT of parents here DONT do their job...  They let their kids play and watch anything they want just to keep them quiet.  Me?  I have 6 kids ALL under 17 years old and not one of them is even allowed in the room when I play an M rated game or watch an R rated movie.  If they made a version of games for other countries that had nudity or were uncensored and the American version WAS censored.  Guess where I would be getting my games from..  NOT American companies. but I digress..  If parents would just DO THEIR JOBS and stop placating their kids like I see alot do we wouldnt need to worry aboug censoring things..  its a pain in the **** to me to see these parents buy Grand Theft Auto and COD MW 2 for their 9 year old.

Right, nudity and violence are not the same.  But IRL, do you really think murder, wanton slaughter, and the like is a better thing than consentual sex between two adults?

I mean my moral standards generally tell me that killing is wrong (though there are circumstances it's OK).

But consentual sex between two adults (and ones that aren't even in relationships with anyone else)?  I see nothing wrong with this at all.

Getting back to the main point though, I too was bothered by the sex scenes.  I would have been fine with an earlier fade to black, or a totally nude one where none of the "forbidden fruits" were shown.  But sex while wearing underwear?  Totally ridiculous and broke immersion in the game for me.  And since it was not necessary to do things this way while appeasing censors, I do find it annoying and hope that BW does not make the same mistake in the future.

As for the other scene the OP mentioned (and why did you post this in the no spoilers section?) , it didn't bother me too much.  It could have been handled better, but I've seen this sort of silliness too often in other places now, and I have come to ignore it.
