He always seems to be asking shepard to do dangerous missions without any other alliance support even when shepard isnt working for the alliance. is it just me or he really doesnt like shepard...

before you jump ahead and say he knows shepard worth, he knows shepard can handle it. i find it very farfetched that not even once he offered shepard airsupport of other kind of support for his missions.

What mission exactly are you referring to?

Shepard's Spectre status allows him/her to operate in places that the Alliance can't.

mostly me1 missions, one of me2 missions and some of me3 missions(bennings and such)

Afcourse he builds your confidence before hand teling you no one else is able to do this shepard.

I mean really? im trying to save the galaxy and you want me to do some alliance cleanup and get me killed?
And when you tell him you have better things to do he tries to make you feel guily about it

Hasn't everyone shepard's gotten a mission from who hasn't come along basically done the same thing?

i think the only mission you can really accuse hackett of trying to get you killed in is arrival

Yeah, but I find Arrival and Hackett's involvement in it to be...highly suspicious for many reasons.

The point of the Normandy and it's crew is that it can get in and out of places quickly and undetected (until Shepard blows something up anyway). It's very purpose is to go places other Alliance ships can't, with a crew capable of handling the missions alone.

I would ask why the Alliance wouldn't put other N7 operatives on board, though. In ME1, Kaidan is the only really capable Alliance guy besides Shepard (Ashley only got on board by accident, so to speak, plus she hadn't actually proven herself capable of going with the elites by that point), which seems odd. Did the Alliance intend to have two guys do everything? Garrus and Wrex and the rest weren't put on board by the Alliance.

Smart person answer: Because you're an elite soldier and it's your job to do these things.

BSN answer: Because he's an indoctrinated spy trying to totally cramp Shepard's style and ally with the Reapers. ISN'T IT OBVIOUS!!!

Hackett promoted Shep's mum to 'rear' admiral.

.... wow not many miltary types here....

thats what happens to great soldiers... the higher ups put them on more dangerous and dangerous missions, until the mission goes south or they succeed and end up mentally breaking them, then they give them a teaching job to train other soldiers to be just like them.

That's what special operation operatives is, and Shepard is N/ and a Spectre, double up.

Seriously where do people make this stuff up?
When a special task force goes on a mission they get whatever support they can. you send a few teams to the mission.
Being special soldiers doesnt mean you get to go to sucide mission one after another.

one of our special task groups most famous operations included over a hundred men over 2500 miles away into enemy's territory without stealth drives. http://en.wikipedia....eration_Entebbe

I guess we can consider this a limitation of the game mechanics, since you can't manage the squad functions of more than 3 people at a time. It became a bit too obvious in ME3 though, how someone conveniently has to leave when a fourth character comes in.
