It's early days yet, but I was wondering if BioWare and/or their writers had an opinion on this?

I thought of that, too. And here's more information on their guidlines.
Official Amazon Post For Authors
This a very interesting situation. The limitations they imposed on what they will accept cuts out...probably 60% of the really good ones I've read. I guess they accept fluff so...
I don't in anyway consider depictions of 'sexual acts' and 'violence' to be offensive. If I don't like it, it's probably because I think it could have been written in a better way. Or it's just...weird. Nonsensical.
And...does that mean Shepard can't call batarians 'squints', salarians 'frogs' or 'lizards', quarians 'bucketheads', or turians 'birds' and 'skull-face'? Cause those are racial slurs.
I'm not working with Amazon if I can't write offensive and non-existent racial slurs! D:<

Way to alienate 90% of the market.Fan fiction containing sexually explicit scenes will not be accepted, the firm said.
