Can I dream with Ian Chesterton appearing this season as the dean of Coal Hill?
Yes, you can.

I support this. Ian is awesome.
I'm guessing everyone recognised William Russell in the 'Adventure in Time and Space' special?
You know, I was wondering the other day, what if 12th is the Doctor that comes back?
OMFG U CAN POST VIDS ON THE FORUM?!?!
And Im not sure where your theory comes from Odan. Can u elaborate?
And 13th looks like a Magician crossed with a Time Lord. Not to say its bad. Its...Distinct.

Sorry, when I said 12th I meant Peter Capaldi's Doctor. It just occurred to me that with Clara being a teacher at Coal Hill School, and with Samuel Anderson joining the cast as another teacher from the same school in a sort of homage to Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterton, then maybe, just maybe, there's a chance the Doctor will meet an older Susan?
You know, I was wondering the other day, what if 12th is the Doctor that comes back?
Well, it's kind of negated by the fact the 1st Doctor reunited with Susan in The Five Doctors... so he already came back for her, in a manner of speaking.
To quote your avatar, "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!"
Wow, the man who wrote awful cack like, 'Victory of the Daleks' and 'Night Terrors'. How lucky can you be?!? ![]()

Capaldi's Doctor: Hello Susan. I'm back.
Susan: Who are you?
Capaldi's Doctor: I'm the Doctor. I told you I'd come back.
Susan: Where is the Doctor?
Capaldi's Doctor: I'm The Doctor!
Susan: Stay away from me imposter.
Oh dear. That reunion didn't go too well. ![]()

Why would she react like that? She's met other incarnations of the Doctor before.
Here she is, meeting the Fifth Doctor, for example...

And, being from Gallifrey, would understand regeneration anyway...

Touché
Susan is a Time Lady as well. That, and she'd know her own grandfather.
I honestly get the feeling that at some point in the shows future, especially with the knowledge that Gallifrey is safe, they might bring Susan back (with her having regenerated at some point of course) to travel with the Doctor again.
Shoot, with the Time Lords still alive, I'm hoping that he'll be able to back across the borders of universes to visit Rose again. Even though it narratively doesn't make sense, it's a fanboys hope right?
And for the 50th, I was actually hoping to see Handy and Rose in their own TARDIS coming to help save Gallifrey with all the other Doctors. It's kind of cool when you think about it.

I'd like Romana to be brought back.
Last time I saw that character, she decided to stay in N-Space because, just because.

She might still be alive. That was part of the fridge horror of the series, several companions who were on Gallifrey who might be dead.
Leela was on Gallifrey. I think she had a comic about what happened to her, buy I never read it. As far as I know she's pretty much dead.
At least Rose is safe with the Ten.5 to watch her (and vice versa). And they have their own TARDIS.
I wonder if they could use that TARDIS' Chamelion Arch to make themselves into Time Lords?

Well if you take BigFinish audios to be canon (and after a bunch of BigFinish companions names were invoked in 'The Night of the Doctor' that's certainly become a VERY blurry line for most fans), Romana II has been back for a long time, and has been in plenty of adventures...
Susan is a Time Lady as well.
Actually, that's never been definitively stated, as the whole concept of Gallifrey and Time Lords/Ladies hadn't been invented when she was on the show.
But, you might say, she's from Gallifrey... and indeed she is! But not everyone from Gallifrey is actually a Time Lord/Lady. So officially the jury is out on Susan.
I expected that The Master would come back along with the High Council given the events that transpired during The End of Time Parts 1 & 2 and The Day of The Doctor.

I would prefer it if this time he was on the Doctor's side. That would make for an interesting development.

I don't know, I think I still want him as an antagonist. Perhaps one that delves into being a dark anti-hero at a couple points.

As long as they don't turn him into a cartoon villain then maybe I'll go along with it. It's just that I'm a bit tired of "The Doctor vs. The Master."

Isn't that kinda the point though? He's The Doctor's counter.
The Master is being played by Charles Dance.
Otherwise known as Tywin Lannister.
Well, last I checked anyway.
