McGann was a good but all too short start, liked Tennant a lot, was sad to see him eventually go, was determined not to like Smith but he grew on me, am determined to not like the new guy, but probably will.

The Angels scare the bejesus out of me, hate them!

I've watched the show through the end of Tom Baker till now.

I remember the original films and watching them, even the black and white ones!

I see Colin Baker fairly frequently at my work, bless him, he got old!

I'm watching the new video posted earlier now.

I know. I can't wait. I hope Peter has enough spunk and energy to play the Doctor right.

That article is making me a little nervous. I liked the comedic acts of the previous generations.

It'll still be funny. He has a lighthearted side too. He's just not gonna be pretending to be youthful anymore. If anything the comedy will be a little harsher, a bit closer to the original docs.

Only natural. I've been waiting for a change up from Smith for quite some time though so I'm optimistic for the future.

Korath is looking forward to Doctor...

Interested in that connection with The Doctor's current appearance and the other character Capaldi played in the Whoniverse.

I think he went too far into goofy. I liked Eccleston's dark and serious yet still goofy tone, and Tennant perfectly melded dark and serious with charm. I felt Smith went too far into the childish.

There is no such thing as too much goofy. ;) Smith was the funny one out of the bunch. Tennant was the talker, and Eccleston was the John Wayne.

I think I would've enjoyed Smith more if the show didn't turn into the Amy Pond and Rory Show for a while. That turned me off more than anything.

I liked Amy and Rory. It made sense because the Doctor was making a family in a way.

I can't wait for Capaldi's run to get started, namely because of all the familial discord it'll put an end to.

At the end of every ad or mention of the man they all feel the need to reiterate -

Mother- He'll be bad because he's too old.

Older sister - He'll be bad because he's making the doctor evil. (wtf)

Younger sister - He swears too much.

Father - 'I don't think much of him.'

Me-

I've tried to point out why they're all mad as a bag of cats and it hasn't worked. So now I just laugh at them.

It appears he still uses Matt's, but he might get a new one. I'd hope for a new one.

A red one. Or purple. Not blue like the one Eccleston and Tennant shared, and not green like the one Smith had. Then again, they might want him sharing Smith's.

Doesn't make sense in my mind though. Actually, The Doctor could do with less use of the Sonic.

I understand it is a gimmick they use to get him out of any tight situation, but it is still an awesome tool to have.

It should be used more in emergencies where he needs a quick fix and can't take the time to have elaborate thoughts and strategies mapped out. Instead I think he relies on it too much(The Doctor). We'll see.
