Then again, if you read the comment sections of female doc discussions throughout the net, you'll see a lot of "I'm not a sexist but..."
Ah great so now we are close-minded and/or sexists because we are of the opinion that having a female Doctor "just because" is a bad idea and not something we prefer? I thought you said a few pages ago that you're not judging us for the opinion of not wanting a female Doctor?
I'm not judging. I just said what I've seen quite a bit. Its a trend, seriously. Look them up.
People are always gonna disagree on things, its always good to leave room for other opinions.
I think the reason why so many people start their comment with "I'm not a sexist but..." is because people on the internet in general are really judgemental and it's not uncommon that when you express an opinion that might even seem a little discriminating against women in even just the slightest little bit people will jump on your throat and think of you as some sort of bully who hates women. Trust me, I've seen it happening, especially here on the BSN, especially in the romance sub-forums (which is one of the reasons why that forum got closed by Chris Priestly).
I respect people who want a female Doctor, but I respectfully disagree and think it's a terrible idea, almost as terrible as the idea of having a female James Bond or a female Sherlock Holmes (yes, I kid you not, I've seriously seen people suggesting that the next James Bond and the next Sherlock should be women).
