My canon male and female Shepard both chose Liara, and most of my ME1 playthroughs are Liara.

Other than that I've done every ME2 romance, and the only new ME3 romance option I've done is Traynor.

ME2- Kelly cause she doesn't effect my Liara relationship. I romance Miranda up to the point of the Renegade kiss then stop and stick with kelly. Kelly is cutier anyway.
ME3- Liara

Liara is my favorite because she works for male and female shep. Not to mention she is just more invested in the relationship IMO. If I go with Ash in ME1 (which is rare) I romance jack in ME2 just to ****** her off. Ever since ME3 I leave Ash to get blown up on Virmir. Kaidan may be annoying, but she is useless against the Reaper forces. We have James. We don't need another grunt soldier, which is all Ash is and remains to the very end. Kaidan goes on to create a powerful biotic unit that kicks ass. Chick has a death wish anyway. Let her die with honor I say.

My Femshep stayed true to blue throughout all 3 games. Male Shep had some casual hookups but never found love. Kelly might have been the closest too it but once she stopped feeding my fish I had no more use for her.

I have a play through for each romance combination that exists. I do not have a male and female play through for each bisexual LI however. Just 1 play through for each LI combo. My canon(or first playthrough really) was Liara in ME1, Miranda in ME2 with a followup with Liara after LotSB, and Liara in ME3. I think my favorite as far as the LI development over the series via cutscenes etc, is probably with Jack though. I like how she changes slowly with paragon Shep from cast iron B to sentimental softy over time.

With three different Shepard's, I've romanced Tali, Liara and Jack.

I did find Morinth the most interesting though.

Well I kinda made different Shepards for each romance although I guess Liara got romanced the most in my play-throughs.

I was going to make a F-Shepard for Jacob Taylor but found out about his romance in ME3 before i made a play-through for him.

I wound make a save for a romance with M or F-Shepard/Kasumi Goto and make a save for a romance with F-Shepard/Zaeed Massani or M-Shepard/EDI if I could. Also Morinth if she was alive in ME3.

have tried all the romances at least once - in ME2 and ME1
however, only Kaidan, Liara and Miranda and Cortez in ME3

I find Kaidan to be the best of the LIs in the game. male or female. and M/M option would have been great, though Steve is a pretty awesome alternate.

Relationship with Ashley went from cutesie love to hate by the time Shepard finished the trilogy.

I see a lot of players romanced Kaidan. Does that particular romance add more to the experience than Ashley's or Liara's? I've kept Kaidan alive before but never romanced him for a resolving arc across three games.

I always romance Kaidan in the first game. I love how it starts with a small smile and then slowly advances to flirting and then love. My ME1 Shep is also always full paragon. After ME1 Kaidan changes and can't seem to get over the fact that I worked with Cerberus. (Sometimes I just want to let Garrus shoot him in ME3)
Garrus is my favorite LI, but I'm glad you can't romance him in the first game. In ME2 my Shep goes paragade and romances Garrus after the ugly break-up with Kaidan on Horizon. 
Then I flirt with Kaidan (and Vega ) in ME3 but reject him for not trusting me and lock Garrus as my LI.

Never played a maleshep or a bioticshep. Never chose a different ending.

Replayed Same Char but changed my canon: None/None/Liara (Use gibbed to switch the romance on at the FOB as a last minute confession that scene is too sweet  )

I have a Shepard for each class, and each has a different LI, but my main is an Infiltrator who stayed single in ME1, then went for Garrus and never looked back.
